    hey now ive killed my share of tree rats with a 12 gauge, ya need that right about now with all the leaves on the trees still

    As an NRA instructor, I teach with a .22. The students show up with all kinds of stuff, but I teach with a SW model 41.

    Why?

    More concentration on the sights and sight alignment, and then not worrying about recoil.

    Also, I don't think anyone here would want to be on the business end of any .22.

    I traded my two .22's for a pickup awhile ago....I miss those girls.

    Gonna buy two more. I've dropped deer and plenty of game with a .22.

    G'Day folks,
    Many a night has been spent with the family Plinknng (in a 10 metre range under the hallway of my basement) with the little Conical Breach Caps (Dynamint-Nobel 6mm SPITZKUGEL)No powder , just what appears to be a generous blob of priming compound. Easy loading on a little German falling block single shot.
