Man, do I ever hear that MVP! [:D]
Piss off.
Are you talking to me?
Like for instance a Beachmaster to me is a perfect pick for catcher[:o)] You should be team owner kimi for the uncanny ability to match player to position.
Well thank you MVP, but I'd settle for the esteemed position of 1st Base ump!
Guess Im not good enough for this team ..[:(]
[:D][:D][:D] That's a good one! Surely there is more than one team to represent GB!
tazzer the beer keeper [B)][:D][:D]
[:D]
Piss off. I don't get involved in sports. I make fun of the people who do. If I were 1st base ump, I'd be sitting there in one of those folding lawn chairs reading a book and calling "safe" and "out" at random intervals as I notice people running past me. And Lord help the person that runs into me.[:(!][}:)]
You'd do fine, Zulu, I'm sure, however, we can't have any disgruntled umps(!) so EMM will have to call 1st and 2nd. [;)][:o)]
Bottom line is that I'm opposed to being involved in this scheme.
Scheme? Do tell.

Who pissed in your cheerios?

Well since I am the owner some trading will commence. Now get off your lazy butts and play ball.
[:D][:D][:D]
Never played softball much, but sure did baseball.
T-ball all the way through the end of HS.
I mainly pitched, but also played first, and shortstop.
Oh well,.......ya take what you get![:D]
Just saw this,.........how did I get third?[:0]

Too many Gold Glove Awards will do that to a fellow! [:D]
I'll be the coach. I retired last night after 3 seasons of coaching girls fast pitch softball (ages 13-16) I never won the play-off championship, but we won 2nd place in the play-offs 3 years straight and the girls all had fun! 1st place regular season all three years too!! Undefeated in the regular season last year!! 16-0.
I don't think I'm a good play off coach!
Long story made very short...I coached a girls college team for a couple of years. It was a good time..learned how to play small ball so this lineup better learn to place the ball and run the bases. No station to station base running here. We are taking every extra base we can and we'll leave a trail of bodies to get it done.[;)]
btw I have serious reservations about the ball boys...we don't have time to sit around and debate every issue and I don't think we'll be able to keep them separated.[8D]

Center or right are perfect for me. Just don't put me in the left!
Just gotta know how to swing a bat...

Center is perfect for the 8 armed spider[:D]
Forget trying out for left as you mentioned there is already a shoe in for that position.

Yup...That was with a Demarini Juggernaut 34/32.
Those balls sounud like sponges when you hit em. We crushed some Red Dots to 380 - those balls fly like baseballs.
I smashed one the other night. Then my next at bat I had a pitch to go to right field with, took the hardest swing of my life and missed. I stopped after spinning 180 degrees facing my own dugout. A couple guys fell down like they were blown over. It was hilarious. Of course my bat speed is about 110mph. My golf club head speed used to be 128mph.
Those who can do and those who can't coach!!! I'm in.

elk, I take it that you mean the bat boys instead of ball boys, is this correct?
You guys cant use Mikan bats out there ?
Yeah, we use a Miken 98 (34/30) and a Miken NRG (34/28)
Also have
Demarini Juggernaut 34/32
Demarini Bruiser 34/32
Demarini Doublewall 34/32
Worth Wiked 34/28
Combat Throttle 34/27
Numerous other "cheaper" bats.
We have a wood bat we plan on taking to the Tourney. All bats are allowed there. We only have ASA "98mph" bats.
