Not really. You should note that eleven states had to be READMITTED to the Union. If secession was illegal that would not have been necessary.

Interesting to ponder but it will never come to fruition. Just like upstate NY wanting to split off from NYC and form a separate state. It's a pipe dream. It is one of those cases though where you'd like to give someone exactly what they wish for then sit back and watch the result.

Hope they do, we could damn up all the rivers that they use for drinking water and watch them all day. California gets 90% of its water from rivers flowing into it like the green river, without that water they would all die

rem, I think you need to fact check. The Imperial Valley might, but it's a flyspeck in comparison to the Central Valley. Try a google search on Shasta Lake, California Aquaduct, Sacramento river, American River, San Joaquin River, etc.
There will be a Jefferson State before there's a California succession, and I don't see either happening in the near future.

Yeah right, and the polls said hillery would win by a landslide too.[;)]

And didn't a lot of celebs say they were leaving? I don't hear any large wooshing sound.

    Facts are, talk is cheap.

They must have figured out they can get more in forigin aid than grants to the states.

That would be great for America. Without California, the libtards wouldn't have the electoral votes that come from CA[:D]

I kind of think that the bulk of the corporations listed below (the top 20 by size in CA), rather like not having to pay an import tax to have their products sold in the other 49 states. Probably the same for a lot of other companies of any size including farming that would make true business decisions vs. the emotional one that is fueling this...

    Rank in
    State Corporation
    1 Chevron
    2 Hewlett-Packard
    3 McKesson
    4 Wells Fargo
    5 Apple
    6 Intel
    7 Safeway
    8 Cisco
    9 Walt Disney
    10 Northrop Grumman
    11 Ingram Micro
    12 Google
    13 Oracle
    14 DirecTV
    15 Occidental Petroleum
    16 Amgen

Hope Trump negotiates California leaving the U.S.

No. 1 = California pays their portion of the national debt based on population.

No. 2 = California pays and additional 20% on the taxable amount for what will be called a "LIBTARD TAX".

No. 3 = California agrees to PAY FOR THE WALL,, (no freebies).
