Our travel trailer is parked by our house these days. I spent the past 3 years living in this 34 ft. travel trailer on average 3 nights a week while working out of town. It's a lot cleaner and more comfortable than a motel room and with the slide-outs it has as much or more room than a normal size motel room. But for staying just a couple of nights in one place it's more work than it is fun to me. Not to mention the time and money spent on cleaning and maintenance. In the future we're either going to park it on a permanent spot near the lake or sell it.
I get amused at people that call staying in one of these camping. Reclining in an easy chair in an air conditioned living room and watching satellite TV while sipping on your favorite beverage is hardly what can be described as "camping". [:D]
