He ignored court orders....hence the BLM (aka The Feds) took enforcement action as per a court order....all as per civilized law prescribes.....law which Mr. Bundy has chosen to ignore because now he feels the US government does not exist because its enforce rules he agreed to when he signed a lease. He also doubled down on anarchy by pushing his cows onto land owned and controlled by the NPS..
Bottom line is the man is wrong.....him saying politically questionable things about race doesnt help him either.

The only land the federal government legally owns is the 68.3 square miles or roughly 43,712 acres that make up Washington, DC which constitutes the federally-administered territory that was ceded to the federal government by the Maryland State Legislature in 1791. Borders of the District are fixed, and the city limits cannot expand without Congress approving a law changing territory's area. They think they own the whole damn country but they don't. The land belongs to the states!!!

exactly,..the FEDS own NOTHING. They exist at our leisure. The only money they have is stolen from the paychecks of the working people in this country. The gov't has never made a dime in it's entire existence,...it TAKES money, it doesn't MAKE money. Therefore, if it "takes" or "purchases" anything, that still belongs to US, the taxpayers.
So in essence, the people own that land, and since the majority seem to have no problem with him grazing his cattle on OUR land, it should be a non-issue. Unfortunately, the gov't, like most politicians, seems to feel the need to justify it's existence.

How was he supposed to pay grazing fees when they revoked his permit? You could say that he owes fines or penalties but not fees. That is like saying that you owe registration on your car even though they won't renew it.
From the audio I heard, Mr. Bundy did not say anything racists. All he did was ask questions.......no statements of racism heard.
However, the media, included Fox News, continues saying he made horrible racists comments. [:(]

He did sign a contract...in 1993. That contact, that he agreed to and signed, had a limit on the number of cows he could graze, which he ignored. He then quit paying the lease, which lead to court fights...which he lost. All the time, he still grazing his cattle on the same land, racking up fees that he still didnt pay. He then accuses the BLM of not maintaining the land (fixing fences, water holes ETC) AFTER he had stopped paying the lease......
Does he owe taxes....I dont know, but he does owe fees for 21 years of grazing, and costs and fines added by the courts, and yes, I think he should also be forced to pay for the costs of the BLM enforcing the court order.....to the tune of another million bucks.....anyone else, anywhere else, would have too.....why not him?
