I would like to steal a friend of mine's brother's idea. Cremate me and load me up in some shotgun shells.

The rest of me in the Illinois river. Preferably a little north of Henry, IL, where we used to have a cabin that we went to and fished. My Grandpa had his spread there and that is where my dad plans to have his spread.

I realize that I won't actually be there but it is comforting to me for some reason to know that I will be with them.

I have said buried until recently, but with the cost I told my wife to have me cremated. A new crematorium has been built recently close to were I live and the cost is $200. It takes about 4 hours to burn up to powder.

Cremated here and I requested NO funeral home visitation. Why waste money for someone else to host my death? We have a house and 4 acres for parking. I want my visitation at my home where people can be themselves and have a drink if they choose to. And I have instructed that no sad music be played at anytime.
