Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain

I swear, one could make money just buying old Glocks, selling lowers separately from the slide and barrel [:)]

I feel I can dis 'em a little cause i Got me a used Glock 17, with two Glock brand Kalifornia mags and two 30rd mystery brand mags. I will say one good thing about it, the Glock brand mags are very easy to load. It's got an insert glow in the dark front sight. Heres a scan of it with a Monarch, Serbian brand ammo box behind it.

    Glock17.jpg?t=1175542483
Glock 17, 30rd mags make this a must have! (Beta C would be nice)

The second pic is from my camera phone so the quality is not so good, but you can see the camparison to my Baby Eagle 9mm which I can only find 15rd mags for. If I had to choose between the two I'd go for the Baby Eagle though, cause it has a better fit and shoots straighter. Though a bit lighter, The Glock feels a lot bulkier.

Baby Eagle 9mm is "da bomb"

    Are Glocks real, or imagined?

Are Glocks just a conspiracy theory?

Is the New World Order real?

Is it not a huge conspiracy that has been in the works for quite a while now?

Is The New World Order good for we the people, or bad for we the people?

Will the New World Order be ushered in without fanfare and accepted by all?

Are you for The New World Order or against The New World Order?

Do you think that those against the New World Order can just simply co-exist with it and "just get along", be happy, roll over and accept it?

Could the same evil ones that have perpetuated their plans have also, a plan for removing those that would thwart their implementation?

Would they just come right out and tell you about it?

Just one more question for now.

    Who's side are you on?

Choose this day whom you will serve.

As for me and my house..............

Well I have two questions. I know just posting aobut Glocks I am starting something but here goes. I think I want a G35. I want to know if anyone has shot them much and what you thought. Are they accurate, is the trigger pull ok, recoil, ect. I have had a chance to handle and dry fire one and they seem good from that point, but that is not the same as live fire. This brings me to my second question. I have a G17 now that I have had for many years that I use as a daily carry. I am thinking about putting a 3.5lb trigger in it. Any thoughts on this one? I shoot ok with it but the normal trigger is a pain to do much shooting with. I am concerned that this might be a bit light for normal carry though.

No doubt glocks are good guns, as for me I could never quite grasp
the concept of a plastic gun, and the no safety thing is also a - .

I wanted a Glock 27. I got a Glock 27. I thought I would learn to love it there was so many PDs around that seemed to. It was like a 2x4 block to my hand. Never felt right. I thought it was too thick.
So I traded it in for a Kahr P40. Great gun. Nice trigger, not too blocky.
Now for some reason I have been thinking about a G19. I can get a Blue Label one for $398. I would have to put a Cominoli kit on it though. Can't decide. I'd rather have a Kimber Solo but that's twice the price and I would have to sell something just to afford the Glock.
Why do I even want it? I think it's Raylan Givens. That's what it is.
    Damn you Glock!

Even with serious work the glocks still have a mushy trigger.

I will suffer with six rounds and a fantastic S&W trigger.

You obviously have not seen "serious work"

Mine all have ghost disconects, 3.5 trigger weights, reduced power striker spring, over powered trigger spring, very smooth and short reset, polished insternals, smooth and crisp as my wilson combat

    Factory trigger is horrendous

Absolutely agree, blocky is not the word, it almost feels like aiming with a shoe box.

I LOVE the Glock 20's. There is nothing like 15+1 of the powerful 10mm auto on tap. I also CCW with a G29. They ain't the prettiest guns out there, but they are reliable and accurate enough for defense work. I have some expensive 1911's, S&W 10xx, Megastar, etc to compare them to.
Fanatic collector of the 10mm auto.

I did the polishing and changed the striker spring too. Like I said, much improvement, but it will never be a tuned 1911, colt or smith wheelgun trigger.

Like you said, to each their own......

I've never been into highly custom guns or expensive gunsmithing work. I likely would be, if I could afford it.

For people with critical needs like competitive shooting events or just hobbyists at that higher level of interest, absolutely these drop-in widgets would not be good enough.

Needs vary. Interests vary. Just the way it should be.
