Ford was not bailed out in the US to keep them in business, it was R&D money. GM and Chrysler were given billions to keep them open as a business. However the thread author is poking at semantics not substance.
I will never buy a GM or Chrysler product BECAUSE they are in business today only because the socialist Obama administration broke the law, stole the company from bond holders and paid off the unions for political support.
I will by a Ford for my next truck, IF they are still in business.
