I am a teacher and I can tell you we have fallen far from near the top to being chastized as part time workers doing a job anyone can handle. You've heard that adage, "Those that can't - teach". Some people believe this nonsense. AND "Rules are good, but for other parents' kids". I see this in practice all of the time.
