Of kids this year....how bout in your area?....I got 5 kids this year so far...ohhhh well I have one big kid here who loves candy....*LOL

    Still early here, Most these days go to the freek show downtown. Halloween has become a Mall/merchant/LEO problem now.[:D]

    Supposed to be a safe thing for the kids, but the vagrants/drunks/gangs manage to mess it up every year.

    I don't know why kids won't come to my door anymore. Every year I dress up like a grouchy fat guy to "greet" them at the door.

    The sun is just going down and we are already getting hit hard, to the point where I wonder if kids are being bussed in from other cities. Mrs. K has developed a very bad habit of handing out full sized candy bars every year and I think that all those little monsters remember and plan their return!

    I'm working today and we had 150-200 kids stop by the Fire Station. We gave out $100 worth of candy and the EMS came over and handed out $60 worth I'm guessing, minus what we grabbed they had the bigger bags of M&M's. [;)] [}:)] [:D]

    I thought I would add a picture that was taken last year of me wearing a mullet wig that one of the guy's girlfriends had that has been altered by another guy on my shift this year. He sent it out to the rest of the guys up here tonight so I thought I would share it with you all here.

    My son doesnt eat candy, so he doesnt trick or treat. i brought him down to a show at the police station called "safety city" they had rides games etc.

    When I left the house I turned all the lawn lights on and put a big bowl full of candy on a chair on the front porch. When I got back a couple hours later very little candy was gone.

    Don, I don't think you ll make it to Newport Beach in time for candy. The nut next door to me who owns a local surf shop is drunk off his * (again) and is handing out cold beer to the parents who are walking with their kids. I've been over to his place three times, just testing to be sure that the beer is still cold [;)] !

    hughbetcha's story has a point...

    I used to give out kids books for any ones that couldnt eat candy...there are always books you can get at thrift shops etc and the kids love them..

    Over 200 by the time we shut it down around 8:00...My wife is a teacher so we get all the kids from her school...Many of her students from many years ago also come with their own children.
