If the person has little meaning to you anymore, there should be no emotional attachment. No emotional attachment should mean there is no longer any hurt. If there is no hurt, there should be no negativity and not anger.
For this person to still be bothering you to this degree, she still means something to you.
I have been hurt by a few people over the years. I haven't forgiven them, as I don't think most people can really internalize what that means. The best a lot of us can do is to find a way to write these folks off emotionally. I do not wish ill towards any of them because I do not care about them in any way.
It is the best I can do, but I never think about them, never dwell upon their actions, and they no longer occupy a dark space in my heart or head. As stated, I no longer care and it works.
