What was yours? What caliber? Make? Model?
I'm conducting an informal poll.
Mine was a S&W Model 28-2 (Which would tell most of the assembled here the caliber)

Will not mention the 38 S & W , in a British Bulldog, that I bought for$3.00 when I was 12 years old. Had to keep it hid around the house.
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
1,000s of rounds through it, and still tight as the day I bought it.

My 28-2 is 45 colt. Don
Pop bought it for me when I was 14.
The first one I bought for myself at 16 was a Mauser Model 1910 sidelatch in 6.35mm. I still have it.
Hey, I was poor.
when they first came out.
from a hardware store.
had it for 15 years before it got ...STOLEN...
First autoloader was a Sigma .40 which was much derided but I actually kind of like. I then bought a Smith 908 (909?) 9mm which I kind of liked but it made a weird BOING! when dry firing. I sold that one too, taking a bath, and I sold the Ruger P90 I bought shortly after that. So three pistols sold, probably netting me a total of $600 or $700, and I'd GLADLY give you $700 to get all three back.
Forgot to ID the pistol... EAA Witness full size steel in blue.
