I do not have any, but my little girl got her one.

In my early years I never got any tattoos because they were a dead give away for the FBI. I've changed a lot since those days. Now a days I won't get a tattoo because it goes against the Bible (Leviticus 19 verse 28).
Speak whats ever on your mind, even if it strays from the subject.
Remember...Terrorist are attacking Civilians; Not the Government. Protect Yourself!
thanks
This was my most recent one.

I don't regret mine at all, and I see no reason why I ever will regret them. Contrary to some popular belief, you don't have to be a ex felon to get them, and getting one or several won't magically turn you into one.
I say go for it, but take some time in the decision. They aren't easiest thing to remove.[;)]
Had a newbie in deck division get one in Hong Kong.
A cobra (snake, not a Shelby) with a blown V-8 engine and racing slicks that covered the back of his hand.
Kind of sad, really.

I've thought about it for sometime and know what i want to get done....i don't drink, never used drugs, I've never trouble with the law or anything of the kind....ive worked very hard all of my life
Never got any ink because so n so did or because everybody else was doing it or to impress anyone.
None of mine show if I'm wearing a shirt because society judges you by what they see and if your inked up,they look down on you.As a younger man, what people said bothered me but now, I'll tell any that judge me by my ink to bite me.
My only advice to you would be to be sure you are doing it for the right reasons as opposed to being cool or because some one you know did.
I'm glad I wasn't drinking something when I got to the punchline.[:D][:D]
Tattooing may be the oldest art form. We have never found an ancient body, no matter how old, that wasn't tattooed. Not only a very old practice but apparently a very widespread one as well. Traditionally tattoos were status symbols that had to be earned. Then they were symbolic with special meaning (as you are discussing). Later used for group identity and then finally decoration.
If you want one then get it. I suggest something smaller and located where it can't be seen by the casual observer. Can always "go public" later if you choose.
Too old to live...too young to die...
I 100% do not regret not having one, and will never regret not getting one in the future.
Yup.

All I'll offer is that there are millions of just terrible tattoos out there. Poorly placed, poorly conceived, poorly designed, poorly executed. Don't let yours be one of them. Check out tattoos on people you know. Ask for referrals. Make sure your man is skilled at the type of tattoo you want to get. Check the spelling. don't allow free hand work. See a finished design first. Good luck
..That there is solid advice you can stand on! The shop and artist that did mine is still there after over 20 years.
..Think HARD about what you get. We saw a kid on the news last week that had "Live By The Gun, Die By The Gun" on his throat. I'll bet he will.

I've always thought about getting a tattoo, but I never could decide what to get. I've just about narrowed it down though. I'm 75 so I thought about getting a bar code and below it the line.......

Got my 1st at 35 so it was not a spur of the Moment thing. Also got my 1st one after I gave up drinking so was completely sober when I got mine.
..That's the best one I've heard today! I have considered putting
my blood type in small print on my chest...A pos....[:D]
I've never regretted them as it marks a time in my life I enjoyed heavily and they are a reminder of it.

A positive, exactly what else could we be except A+

I would like to have more but I have fractured my spine seven times and the last tat took twice as long because I had to keep getting up and walking around before we could resume.
I got my first in 1978 next was 1979 then 1994 last was 2012. I don't regret any of them, but a short sleve shirt covers all of mine.

..That, kind Sir, is because we are exceptional...[:)]
..I'll never regret the arrowhead and feathers on my upper arm. A T-shirt covers it but I have no shame. I think for a tattoo, it has a touch of class and respect for Native Americans. My wife is about 1/8 Cherokee though she's blond and green eyed. I picked it out of the artist's book and knew right away it was what I wanted.

Yup.
I was young and in college once. We went to the nearest boom town ( fort benning) for some entertainment at the red light lounge and then around midnight stumbled to an ATM and I was already to get a couple of Greek letters on my ankle but alas the door was locked. I thank The Lord for locked doors somedays...
Thought about it but just don't know what it would be.
Besides, don't care for the one needle prick I get from the doctor, thousands? I don't think so.[:)]
