A Husband and wife are shopping in their local store.

The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in Their cart.

'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife.

'They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans,' he replies.

'Put them back, we can't afford them,' demands the wife, And so

    they carry on shopping.

A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face

cream and puts it in the basket.

'What do you think you're doing?' asks the husband.

'Its my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,' replies The wife.

Her husband retorts: 'So does 24 cans of Budweiser and its half the

    price.'

On the PA system: 'Cleanup on aisle 3. We have a husband down...

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel shamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered.
Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

All you guys drinking a beer, in my county Yalobusha, in MS, we are able to drink the first legal beer since 1937. We had a special election and 65% of the population voted for beer.

However our whole city council and county supervisors belong to the Baptis church. OK 65% voters want beer. The city council and supervisors want beer to be sold HOT, NOT ON SUNDAE< and not within 300 feet of a church, school, or whatever they can come up with.

Ain't it great that a church can have so much influence that local politice can be dictated from the pulpit?

The Baptist minister made beer his holy war and spent much time and effort to keep a legal commidity out of Yalobusha county. It seems like this church could have fought a better war, like feeding kids and orlorns than keeping beer away from citizens like me. Tom

[8)][^]There's a big conference of beer producers. At the end of the day, all of the presidents of all beer companies decide to have a drink in a bar. The president of 'Budweiser' orders a Bud, the president of 'Miller' orders a Miller Lite, Adolph Coors orders a Coors, and the list goes on. Then the waitress asks Arthur Guinness what he wants to drink, and much to everybody's amazement, Mr. Guinness orders a Coke! "Why don't you order a Guinness?" his colleagues ask. "Naah. If you guys won't drink beer, than neither will I."

Leinenkugel's BERRY SHANDY, I highly recommend you try a six pack. The Black and Tan is also most excellent, mild and flavorful!!

Not sure how far west it is distributed I think it is made in PA.

Find a good micro brew in your area. Something made in small batches, no two beer tastes are alike. You will just have to experiment.

For fancy drinking, it's hard to beat Boulevard unfiltered wheat beer! Out of Kansas City.

One of the best ones I have had would be Rouge Hazelnut brown ale in a 22oz bottle. Or obsidian Stout made in Bend OR... Have not had one since the summer though.

I am a confirmed beer drinker. In cold months a Brandy Manhatten works but beer is my choice. I agree with Chrishiher. I always try LOCAL wheat beers wherever I go and never spit any out. I think they are a purer beer with less chemicals if that's possible these days. It's like sex, all of it is good just some better than others!

Pabst, Keystone Ice, and beer on sale that week is for utilitarian drinking[:D]. That also goes with 40 ounces of King Cobera, Mickey's and Steel Reserve 211 to get my crunkin' drink on[:D].

Found me this Blueberry stout which is good with 1/3 to 2/3 ratio. One bottle of Blueberry with two cans of higher proof ales or pilsners.

As for what is best in the world? That is a hard one to say but I'll have to represent my peeps by stating Saporo or Kirin (got to love steel cans you can not crush with your head[:D]).

My IPA is the best in the World. I'll have to send you a batch. The problem with having good beer is you'll not want to go back to BMC!

I've been drinking beer for about 55 years. I'm happy that mom & dad aren't here to hear about that!

Beer, like women, all all good. Some a little better than others. I try not to limit myself to either!
It's too late for me, save yourself.

Those are probably Lindemans Belgian beers. Maybe Chimay. Kinda like liquid I-Hop pancakes to me.

    Fruity and/or *!

Buy a kit for ESB, an English ale, at Asheville Brewers Supply.
You simply cannot buy as good of a beer as you can make.

    Beer doesn't keep, like wine.
It doesn't get better with age, it gets worse.
Plus, no preservatives in your home brew.
