I feel sorry for you. My Father is 84, WWII Army Air Corp, shot down 3 times. I know that it won't be to long and I will join you in having lost a Father. I will be feeling your pain sometime in the next few years. Again I do feel for you. What our Fathers did during WWII eclipses what I have done with my life.
From the bottom of my heart I thank all of you good people for your kind words. Tomorrow he will be laid to rest next to my mother on one side and the other side he will be laid next to a brave young soul who was just killed in the line of duty in Iraq at the of 27..God Bless you all...
...Sorry to hear...thoughts and prayers to ya'll all...lost both of my parents sometime ago and I still miss them both; gets better/easier with time...[;)]
I'm always sorry the last few from that generation can't stay with us just a bit longer. We need their stories, and their wisdom.
Lost my mom, an ex-WWII Navy nurse, in 1988 at age 65. Lost my dad, an ex-WWII Navy pilot, at age 78. Way too young for both, a I would have liked them to know better how my life turned out. We just close ranks, and move on.

God bless you and those left to grieve, and heaven is a richer place.
