toolsforfools neighbor's response

edited November 2008 in General Discussion
Just wanted to say that I am the neighbor in this little story. Every thing that toolsforfools said was true. All of you self rightous liberals and naysayers can e-mail me personally if you want proof. The police report is in my name! As far as toolsforfools shooting, it was not wreckless as many of you think. In the direction he was shooting there was an old wooden shed (that if anyone was inside, they too were up to no good) and behind that, is a wooden fence, and behind that is a two foot block wall. No houses, no pets, no nothing. I will bet that many of the Obamas here will also call me a liar. I have been a member of this Forum for almost 3 years. I don't post a lot, but I do read a good bit each night. I'm proud to call toolsforfools my neighbor and friend. One tidbit he did leave out was that my dogs were going nuts earlier that night. I went out on the front porch and saw my neighbors motion light on accross the street, I stood there for about 5-6 min. but didn't see anything. Now jump to the end of toolsforfools story. My neighbor's grandaughter accross the street came over and told us that the lowlife we described was the one that set off their motion light. Which means that this crazy idiot was standing in the shadows watching me, and as soon as I turned out my lights went to work on my vehicle (for the third time in four weeks, we know it to be the same sorry excuse for a human being, because we have photos of his shoe print from all three incidents, which our local law doesn't think is important). Now, knowing all of this I'm afraid to let my teens go anywhere by themselves. Our law is a joke, and me and my family are the ones in prison in our own home. As far as moving goes, somebody here who thinks me and my neighbor are whackos, can come buy my house so I can move, otherwise shutup! This true event would never have happened had this country not be in the mess it is in today.[}:)][xx(][:(!][:(][V]

I say it's all baloney. In addition, there are three conveniently new members that seem to be carrying the story and supporting each other a bit too well. Same person perhaps? I'd say most likely. [;)]

Peon? That's a good one. If it were true, you'd be locked-up for illegally discharging a weapon. [;)]

In addition, if you were my neighbor, I'd press charges just to make sure you understand that you don't blindly shoot a firearm anywhere near my home. You had ZERO justification to discharge a weapon. Fool. [B)]

Please read my whole story. I am the neighbor. I have been a member for almost 3 years (check my profile). I get on gunbroker every night and read the posts. I saw where most all of you people were having a field day with toolsforfools. I also said e-mail me personally if you wanted proof. If you are not willing to do that, then don't question the story. I am not going to get in a "shouting match" with any of you. If you want to attack my character, then you are no better than the perp. that got shot at. This will be my last post on this subject.

i dont doubt the story one bit. i believe every word of it. i still think it was ridiculously reckless, regardless of the presence or absence of anything besides a barn. its still worng in every way to shoot a non violent thief.

Both these guys are missing the point. If he would have been shot in the back, running away and unarmed "tool the fool" would of had some VERY serious legal troubles. ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Because he has no life, and he just got around to going and talking to his neighbor because they had to find some gas to get their caddy to the local KFC for some soul food. (Sorry if this offended anyone, i didnt mean it like that.)

thats pretty much been my point all along. dont even need to be shot in the back.

now granted, some places have laws that allow you to literally shoot first and ask no questions or ask them later. ive heard a thousand times(never from someone i would call credible) that in texas you can shoot anyone found on your property after dark without even a warning. i dont know if its true for tx, but id be willing to bet its true some where. even there, i disagree. i will forever and ever untill the day i die be against the taking of life to prevent the nonviolent theft of property. someone presents a weapon, kill em dead where they stand. hell i'll even roll with a justifiable and credible threat of deadly force. but kill a man over a tape deck? i cant imagine how those loons sleep at night prepared to kill for stuff

In the original thread, the OP stated that if I emailed him, he would send me the name of the PD. I sent said email. I posted a 'you've got mail' in this forum. He has not responded.

I can only assume that he has fabricated the entire story. Why, I have no idea. It only serves to make him look the idiot. I guess some people need the attention. Sad.

He has had more than an hour to reply, and has posted numerous times in the duration.

    In conclusion:
    I call BS
OK He did send two emails. Neither appeared until a few minutes ago. One was time stamped at 8:13pm. I'm on central time. The other at 10:14. Both have a valid number for a PD. I'm calling.

If anyone in this story is/was a "responsible" individual, why wasn't the Police called when neighbor's grandaughter accross the street came over and told us that the lowlife we described was the one that set off their motion light? This tells me that "no one was thinking sensibly"---PERIOD!

She came over after the police got there, and told everybody around. The police didn't even take a statement from her.

Well sir, if you are the responsible adult in the story then please go get his gun. You dont shoot at someone NOT causing you an immediate threat, I'm all for scumbags being disected and mutilated. Your probably not going to have to worry about selling your house, if this * was hit he more than likely is gonna own your shiny knights house and yours. No matter how you wanna depict this to Disney or the 3rd grade class, it was a stupid reckless thing to do. You may get lucky and * will rent you a room.

If i may make a modest suggestion:

invest in a game cam set up with night vision if possible to catch these guys on film. give the locals some hard evidence to work with.

i do hope this guy (and any others involved) get caught.

Gee I take the day off and looks what happens.

Someone needs to learn the use of force ladder.

And it wouldn't hurt to learn when it is lawful to use deadly force.

By the way, my 2 cents is this is a total B. S.

No one could be that stupid and still be out of jail.

    I disagree.

I'll refrain from defending tool's other actions (refusing to holster when told to do so by a cop, WTH?) but I could care less if he put one in the perp's head or *.

I'm not saying I would shoot under that circumstance, but I'd vote not guilty if I sat on the jury......

to each his own on the topic. i just cant ever see myself taking a life over propery, especially insured property.

threaten my life and you'll not make it three steps. steal my car, the worst you're going to get from me is i hope they catch you in it and you resist. other than that, i just cant wish or provide death to a non violent offender.

jake, i dont get it. hose and morphine? you lost me

I didn't see anything which indicated the property was uninsured or not, but I consider the point to be irrelevant regardless.

If someone stole my truck, I'd be in deep crap. I carry liability insurance but, as far as I know, if my truck was stolen I'm SOL.

This wasn't a thief stealing gas, or something minor....he was making a deliberate attack on something that very well could have been the livelihood of the victim.
