I hope everything goes ok for you and your wife is not an early widow. Don
She's an RN and a friend of hours (an RN) will actually be there for the pre and post op.
I'm done for...

That depends, is she hot? wifes hot friend washing the boys? hmmmm[}:)][}:)]
I'm looking for a downside[8D][}:)]

The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly, is to fill the world with fools.
Best wishes and prayers sent for a speedy recovery.
I hope you are able to taste colors and see music on your Doctor prescribed chemical painkiller trip across the universe, or if you prefer a more socially responsible and acceptable wish "may you suffer very little Pain".
I had one those surgeries a few years back. Best little nap you'll ever get. Once they get you knocked out the nurses start peeking under the sheets. Next thing you know your photo of your manhood is stuck on the nurses breakroom wall for all to laugh at.

I am more than a little nervous as I have never been put to sleep. At least not by an anesthesiologist!
Wish me luck you sentimental ba$tards!
Good luck Matty ...
(I'm not going to tell him about the cat my Dad had put to sleep when I was a kid ... it might make him nervous ... cause the cat never came back around)
If you really desire something, you'll find a way ?
? otherwise, you'll find an excuse.
Woke up in the middle of mine -
raised up on elbows - said, "Hi
guys - how's it going!?" Saw a
bunch of surgical masks - with
BIG wide eyes over each one -
one masked face nodded to the
anesthesiologist behind me - and
whooosh! ... Nighty night!
[:D](Ret.)
sayin a little prayer for ya mateo....and also hope those pics don't end up on some web site..like.. revenge.com..when that male nurse shaves your ..."boys"..[:0]..here's hopin and prayin its almost over w/by now..Loko[;)]
You are probably getting them cut offthe surgery now, so this may be too late to help. I am from the '60's so I have experience in these things. Drugs are the answer! Ask for Hydrocodone. Be prepared for a lot of pain and about a 3 week recovery. Best Wishes!
Maybe this is outdated, since I last had one more than twenty years ago and they didn't use mesh then, but the biggest problem I had was having to take the first dump afterwards - absolute agony (I wondered at the time if it was close to what giving birth feels like!). The second biggest problem was standing up after sitting down - the blood rushing to my groin was excruciating and I literally would get light-headed and dizzy. I learned in short order to be close to a chair or wall to hang onto!
Having said all that, my 82-year-old dad had one just a few months ago where they did use mesh (and I think he had laproscopic surgery), and he was up and around in no time ...
