it's OK, we got a HS reunion going because of FB.

And I meet with some classmates every few months for dinner and drinks.

Otherwise, all the "causes" and requests to play stupid games like Farmville are just annoying.

I'd rather talk to a bunch of strangers online than people I know.

Me, too. And when it comes to this forum, we don't come any stranger.[8D]

I have an account to keep in touch with people that have moved away, and my family. They are spread all over the US.

I only have about twenty "friends" and regularly ignore requests from people I don't want to be "friends" with.

Usually, I delete the drama queens, unless they are entertaining. Kind of like a good meltdown on here.

Don't know how many I've said Who are they.

Of the 20 about 10 are Family.

I use mine to keep in touch with family and friends back home. Usually only get on there once or twice a week but it is fun to see whats all going on back home. I do have a select few from GB on there also. I think only one or 2 people from work.

That's what you think. Read the really, really, really, quote:really fine print in the terms of service agreement. Anything you have ever posted on Facebook (pics, vids, etc) is now owned by Facebook. It will remain a series of 1s and 0s for eternity.

I have two accounts. One I reserve for family only. It's a great way to keep up with pics and stuff from all over the world. The other is my play account where anything goes

Not to hijack the thread, but here's my FB page. Most of my stuff is public and check out my videos of shooting automatic weapons. I'm not a number collector, so I don't really add people unless I know them personally.

Saw a SouthPark episode a couple days ago. Stan is walking down the street when some stranger pulls up next to him, asks him why he did'nt accept his friend request on Facebook? Stan tells him, " I don't know you!"

People really go nuts over FB. (sort of like this forum[:)]) I don't get it, I have one I look at it maybe once every 2 weeks, and I only use it for keeping in touch with people I could'nt normally.

The trick is to live your life honest and aboveboard so you need not fear the world knowing. Some people on FB block everything just like some here have no profile. They are cowards in my opinion.

After reading dozens of different forums and places like facebook, I see no reason for people to expose the private happenings in their life as they do. Thats why I said, Why not shout it to the world..I have seen more dirty laundry aired on the internet than I have ever witnessed person to person..[:(]
