At the moment I'm carrying a small two-blade that is only marked "USA." I have maybe 75 other folders so don't pay much attention to a particular brand I'm carrying, although almost all are made in USA. (I'm a sucker for old folders at swap meets and gun shows -- you can find nice, high-quality knives for fifty cents or a dollar or two if you watch for them. I found one at a gun show this spring (can't remember the brand) for $1 that shows up on eBay for $20 or more.[:)]

My daily carry is a Buck 435A (just took a magnifying glass to it to be sure). Polymer scales, 1.5" blade. Super lightweight.

Last 12 years, #8 Opinel, it's not a good screwdriver, but does everything else I've asked. I've got more expensive knives, but thisun does just as well, and iirc was $6.

For 8 yrs before that was a Case Sodbuster jr, backspring broke, sent it for repair... never saw it again. [V].

Lately a Case Tiny Toothpick with red worn bone scales. I have been into smaller knives lately and late night purchases have been abundant. A couple of months ago I was buying Swiss Army Knives but I have about a dozen in assorted colors. My Benchmades and Emersons are sharpened and ready but I hardly carry them. I am buying small and pretty and not too expensive. I did just pick up two Benchmade Crawford Leopards, one black one silver. These have been discontinued for years but I like the design. Very sharp and pointy and one time long ago in K.C. I saw one go right through a large gentleman's hand. I have owned several in the past but lost all of them.There are 14 knives on my desk. There are at least a dozen more in the drawers beside me. Then there are the fixed blades scattered around. I see a Puma White Hunter made in 1969 that needs a sheath, half a dozen bayonets, and a couple of Kabar military knives. When I die it's gonna be a lot of work figuring out what to do with all this junk.[:)][:)]
