Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

Is it still a conspiracy when those in power acknowledge it openly?

No president would ever DARE say that he does not need to speak with congress before initiating foreign aggression because the U.N. said that it was OK.
I like to discuss the SHTF scenario. If it does hit the fan, I am pretty well prepared.
1. House way out in the country
2. Have water if there is no electricity
3. Have lots of food
4. Have propane for cooking and wood stove for heat
5. Have guns
6. Have generator
I am going to do a few more things in the next two years but I am way way ahead of 99 percent of the population. For starters, in the SHTF scenario, survival in or near a city will not be possible.
I like to do things that are not too expensive and that I might have done even if not thinking of a SHTF scenario.
For instance, in the past 2 weeks I planted 6 chestnut trees.
In ten years, they will produce 120 pounds of chestnuts annually.
Think of what a treasure that supply of chestnuts would be in a survival situation.
I truly believe in being prepared. I got plenty of mags and ammo but I am realistic enough to know that if 15 armed men attack my house I'll get a few of them. Maybe more than a few but I realize I will be one of the dead ones. Just one of them hard facts of life
Nein!
Think about it. You are not re-fighting the Battle of the Alamo.
Those 15 guys want to live, just as much as you do.
You shoot the first two, the remaining 13 are going to go somewhere else. They are looking for easy targets.
I have Ate Chestnuts ,,,, I Would Rather Chew on A horse Turd

I have bought roasted chestnuts from street vendors all over Europe, and they were delicious.
But, that is not what we are talking about here.
We are talking about a survival situation.
Chestnuts are, like most nuts, extremely nutritious. Lots of protein and carbohydrates. A pound of chestnuts is probably better for you than a pound of venison.
We are not talking about a dinner party, where there is a plate of cashews, and a plate of butter-roasted pecans, and another plate of roasted chestnuts. You don't care for chestnuts so you eat the cashews.
We are talking about a situation in which you are starving to death.
If you could go out and pick up a pound of chestnuts you would eat every one of them, and thank God for them.
And tomorrow, you would go back, and pray to God that you could pick up another pound.
Allen Griggs I agree with your statement early on in a SHTF situation. At first you can probably pop a round in the air and cause a stampede. Later as people get seriously desperate, extremely hungry and think you have food, whole nuther ball game. Than taking out 1 or 2 isn't going to do it.
But what would a bunch of old key board warriors know??[:D]
