You ask opinions about a Harley on a forum full of Erkel sounding Poindexters who ride BMWs and Jappers while holding thier noses in the air like they are royalty?? Are you nuts or on dope?
To many people here were complaining about not enough conflict![;)]
These type of questions on this forum is like going to a happy bar to ask about where to pick up girls! Pay attnetion to the demographics of this forum, there aint much of a Harley crowd here!! More likely to encounter a good conversation about Vespa scooters, shuffleboard and geriatric clinics!! [:D]
I think your about to get one Hell of a computer key lashing![:D]
BSR and Smitty, I have a bigger ball park frank[:D][:D][:D]
Keep the 56. Go get a newer Harley, with less miles and headaches. Those are a dime a dozen, your wagon is not.[;)] Cool truck and if I lived closer, it would be in my driveway. I have been driving Donna nuts looking for a 50's willys wagon for about ten years for surf fishing. I want one that needs a little work, but everything around me is too expensive and shipping is outrageous. Restore the wagon and drive it or you will kick yourself later, IMHO
How much are you asking for the truck???? I will look into shipping from my Brother In law that goes out there on a regular basis. Maybe he can pick it up and bring it back for me. We could do it through GunBroker and I could pay your fees.Oakie

We'll let BSR be the judge of that since he's probably more knowledgeable. Seems logical that he would since according to his post above he goes to happy bars to ask questions. [:D]

I'm down to $4000 on it.
I have it for sale on {elsewhere} (Las Vegas) if you want more pics and a better explanation of what it is.
And yes, I would pay Don if it sold through GB.
There is no such thing as Liberal Men, only Liberal Women with Penises.'
Keep the Willys. That's a $5-6k bike depending on miles. It's only going to stay there, look at 70-84 shovels, selling for 5-6 and lower everywhere. Now my Pan, she's a different breed!! I'm still looking for a daily to replace the 05 bagger I lost last year in a wreck, unless you want to tinker, you want fuel injection, evo, twin-cam. You can find a nice 05 and up wide-glide or similar for 6k and up. It's not what they're asking, it's what they're selling for. WILLYS
Going to ride my Bike to work today a 06 FLSTCI this model the cam chain tensioner from the factory was not changed till 07. Mine has been changed and I did it. Would recommend that you don't try that as it was some work.

I think she is over-rated, has not kept up with the times, and makes a lot of noise while accomplishing very little.
Cannot see her as being our next president.
The Willys or the Harley?
