The valve stem core tool I keep in the ashtray of my car has seen some use; and that's all I'm going to say.
That's is a good way to get your * kicked.

its also a cowards way. A man would wait for the driver.

You guys missed the error. Look at the jeep closer. 9 times out of 10 a truck parked like this is in a compact car only lot which some retail centers have adopted or you have some * who is unable to park the most simple vehicles straight in a parking space. I have seen minis jeeps smart cars all with a rear wherl on tbe stripe. And yet its always the the truck that has to adapt.

The only ahole i see here is the loser who took an hour of their to play chalk time in a parking lot like a child. If it was that big of s deal why not just leave? The truck is not blocking any vehicle from coming or going.

    So who cares?

You have failed to notice many other clues in the picture that give evidence to the size of the parking stalls, and support the claim that the driver of the truck in question is an a-hole parker.

Clue 1: A current-generation Dodge Ram has a factory specified width of just a little over 6 1/2 feet (79.4 inches to be exact), and that truck is taking up less than half of of the width of each of the two parking stalls the front end is in. That leads me to believe that the parking stalls are at least 12 feet wide, maybe a little wider.

Clue 2: The silver car on the left side of the picture appears to be a Gen-4 VW Jetta sedan, which would make it 172.4", or 14 1/3 feet, long. The careful observer will take notice that the front of the car is roughly even with the end of the line at the open end of the parking stall, and there appears to be approximately 4 feet of unused stall between the rear of the car and the end-line of the parking stall. That means that the parking stall is approximately 18 feet long, possibly as much as 20 if the front of the car isn't quite even with the open end of the stall.

Clue 3: The black truck that is partially obscured by the silver VW appears to be a full-sized, crew-cab Dodge pickup, of roughly the same age as the one of which is the object of the photo. There is a considerable gap between both that truck (the one in the background, partially obscured by the VW) and the parking line on the driver's side, and also between that truck and the silver SUV or minivan parked next to it. I would estimate that the distance between the wheels of the truck and the parking line would be at least 1 foot, possibly as much as 2, and the distance between the truck and the SUV/minivan is between 3 and 5 feet.

All of these clues give tell to the size of the parking spots, leading the careful observer to the inevitable conclusion that the parking stalls are more than adequately sized for the truck in the center of the photo, and that the driver of said truck is, truly, an a-hole when it comes to parking.

As a side note, the driver of the red Jeep is not an a-hole at parking, merely a bad driver who doesn't know the dimensions of his/her vehicle.

Not even close. I deal with developers and new construction on a daily basis. The standard parking stall is 9 x 18. There is no place you will find a 12 wide stall. Not as many cars can park. Developers and business owners want as much as they can have and will never install 12 wide stalls.

In Texas the # of slots depend on the sq ft of the store. So a store like home depot has to have x number parking, no matter how big or how small the lot is. Also, my previous rants over the years about handicripple parking is also based on the size of the store and that is why there are 24 slots in front of nearly every home depot / lowes in texas. More so in Frisco.

To try and say the size of the slot based on virtually nothing, is no more insane than my claim it's a dooley pick up with a long load.

Yeah, the guy could have parked further out, and I seriously doubt he feels his truck is special or precious. I sticking to my claim this has been posted here, and I am probbaly wrong, but I have seen this before and I remember someone posting a pict that showed the truck was parked that way for a reason and not just to be a jack wagon.

Since I really spend 0% of my life worrying about how others park, I choose to park when how where I can so I can get in and out with my life! Which should be ones main concern to begin with.

Living proof some folks are so self centered, important, and full of themselves that they can't be bothered by thinking about others. These are the same arseholes who cut everyone off at the end of a lane that's coned off instead of smoothly merging with traffic, the ones who pull up between the pumps at the gas station blocking two (or thee) at a time instead of using the one they need, on and on. A true born and bred *.
