Hello, My friend has a Blue 6" Colt Python. It is in great to excellent shape. It was carried as a duty gun in the 60's by a Policeman in a small town in the Midwest. The serial # is 154, yes that's not a misprint it is "154". I know Colt prices are crazy, but I was just wondering roughly what it is worth.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

A duty gun is probably very worn. A low three-digit Python could easily sell for $5,000 plus if in excellent condition, but a well-worn one will struggle to reach $1,500. Condition and originality will determine value. Detailed pictures are needed.
