Why the Americas weren't exactly stolen from the Native Americans
Zheng He was a Chinese admiral and explorer who may have explored the West Coast of North America sometime in the early 1400s. He made well-known and documented voyages throughout the Indian Ocean, but a map was discovered in 2001 which suggested he had also found North America.
There have also been artifacts discovered off the California coast which may be Chinese anchors.
The Ming Dynasty-funded explorations ended soon after, possibly because China needed to devote more money and attention to protecting its Northern border from Mongolia.
But they knew about the New World and word may have spread.
When they got another chance, the plan may have been to return. So the Native Americans would have lost control of the continent anyway.
The Vikings, of course, had discovered the New World for sure but had left after a time. Other explorers are rumored to have found the New World at various points.
When it became obvious that the New World was going to be China's or Europe's, there was far less point in holding back.

Kind of like Poland after WW1.
What a sorry waste of time, lives, and money that 2nd War.
Not really sure why anyone would think this way, but what the heck; blacks were going to be enslaved anyway, so it was OK.

Is it time to give California back to China?
Lets start with their politicians.
China doesn't want them either!
It's 1492 and the Indians standing on the banks of the shoreline are again whispering at each other.
"Here comes some more of those white men with their flags in hand claiming they discovered our land!" 😁
China already owns them.

We took the land from the Indians the same way that they took the land from the people before them. By outfighting them. The Indians fought countless wars against each other, the stronger defeating the weaker and running them off. That's how it was done in those times.
Leaving the Americas would have been equivalent to letting China control the world.
Ownership of the Americas would have greatly strengthened the Ming dynasty and they may have been intent upon expansion, if the stories of Zhong He's fleet are to be believed. From Wikipedia:
"Traditional and popular accounts of Zheng He's voyages have described a great fleet of gigantic ships far larger than any other wooden ships in history.
Six more expeditions took place from 1407 to 1433 with fleets thought to be of comparable size.[75]"
