When younger Levi's were the in thing any thing else you were just not cool
Some time ago several years + at least they came out so far left a lot of people said no way so long by then It had been years since I had bought any thing Levi
So Many company's going woke now its going to be like finding USA. Anything over China imported just another few miles down the old poop creek for America
Levi's has been supporting gun control groups and special rights for the LGBTQ community for decades!
Sorry toolman, but this is old news. Thanx though, for bringing it back to the forefront.
Carhartt and Duluth jeans for me.
I was actually hoping the headlines of this post meant Levi was going out of business.

Yep, been going on for years. Bought my last pair of Levi's over 5 years ago when I found out which way they leaned.
I dumped Levi's long ago, for their left-leaning attitude.
Later, I pretty much quit wearing jeans, and anything made of denim.
I haven't owned any Levis for 30 years.
Never wore them
They have been woke I haven't worn them in 45 years.
Not only "woke" but not as good as they used to be ;)
I've gone through two pair of Carharts and three of Wranglers since they went political. ;(
I don't know about decades but yeah they went full woke years and years ago. I haven't bought a pair of their jeans in at least 15 years for that reason.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Dresses, I assume?

I'm sort of short and square and Levi's never fit me right.
Wranglers fer sure then.
I not sorta i am short use to more square but have become more rounded with age 😮
so a kilt is more your liking nothing like celebrating your heritage ( well better than a dress ? )
There are 200 companies on the anti gun list. You can't watch TV without running into a couple.
I stopped buying Levis when they moved their whole factory to Mexico.

When were they not an issue? We literally have Levi protests dating back almost 20 years!
Let's try to get up to speed.
Wow Mark, that post has some old timey names goin' on!
When they went from 7 belt loops to only 5 belt loops I quit buying them. 30 years ago I guess. I still got and old pair with 7 loops, maybe they will be worth something someday. Carhartts are better.
...Always worn Wrangler Cowboy cut, Levi jeans are baggy, and plain look funny on people who wear boots...
I miss most of them.

Like I said,,, decades! They were supporting gun control loooong before they moved manufacturing out of the country. Used to like the way they fit, haven't owned a pair for at least 30 years for that very reason.
levis related side story my wife tends to toss out my stuff when i am not around ( yes I am a armature hoarder ) any way I would guess 25 maybe 30+ or so years ago I still had a couple pair of the huge bell bottom levis in a bottom drawer of a chest I kept some clothes in mostly my old ones I wore them in high school and a couple years after this was before I even met my wife to be ( my early hippy years ) of course she denied it , and well nothing I could about it any way but it sticks with me obvious 😐️
any way any one else use to wear the huge bell bottom style some times called elephant bottom when they got really big flared at the bottom I even remember kids adding panels to make them even bigger ?
one more comment ever see what a pair of old very early levis sell for ' there is a huge collector market
I remember wearing slightly flared bottom blue jeans back in my high school years but not sure if they were Levi's. What I remember most about those pants was the fact they also had button up fly instead of zipper. 🤐
They were a pain if you held your water to the last minute and your brain equated just seeing a urinal meant relief!! 😫
I thought I was the only one who had noticed the correlation between numbers of belt loops and quality of pants. "Five loopers" are never as good as a pair of pants with seven, be they jeans or dress pants. I don't know if that's the first or last corner they cut, but it is definitive.
Yep I wore the big bells in the 60's and early 70's then switched to the boot cut which had only a slight flare to get over my boots easier. Switched to rustlers (cheaper version of wranglers, but made by same company) I stopped with the Levis over 30 years ago because of their "wokeness" bs and although the rustlers wear out faster, I can get 3 pairs for the price of regular wranglers....
They also make clothes under the Docker name.

I was a faithful Levi wearer until they gave money to an anti 2nd amendment group in San Francisco 25 years ago.
Wranglers since then.
