That is a big part of the problem.

During the riot
So, if I understand you correctly, you won't defend your own life?

No, he will. Him and the other don't believe anybody else should be able to...
What was the purpose of him going there?
To make your logic (sic) work, you have to believe that the attacks upon him were justified.
They were not.
Rittenhouse was not the aggressor in any of the three instances where he fire his weapon.
In retrospect, it was not a good idea to be there, but carrying a weapon does not provide legal justification for anyone to assault you.

The BLM supporters here believe the attacks on Kyle were justified... because he was there.

What about the guy who attacked Kyle who was legally barred from owning a gun, yet was carrying a pistol... the guy you seem to be supporting for attacking Kyle, "because Kyle was a child and shouldn't have been there"? Should that guy have been there? Seems to me that guy was the one that made the mistake. You don't think Kyle should have defended himself against his attack? Odd.

Exactly , his defense was he was guarding the car lot. Bologna... the owner never ask him to be there.. and by the way... was there any compensation? News just said he shot one in the back. That doesn't sound like a threat. I would assume he is was charged with 2 counts of murder and 1 count of attempted murder. He may pass on one but all three.. get real. And if the families of the deceased are in court... well good luck going on with your life.
He made, a dumb choice. Dumber people assaulted him. I would prefer my son be him rather than the people he shot.

He was there because he choice to be there, still a free country to travel as we please. He broke no laws. He had a god given right to defend him self, regardless of his age or where he was at. There are such things as mature 17 year olds. I have know people in there 30s and 50s that acted like 12 years olds. 17 to 18 is a legal guide line for law. It has really nothing to do with maturity.
I watched the medical examiner's testimony and watched the enhanced video that accompanies it. Saying the shot in the back proves he shot someone that wasn't a threat to him doesn't hold water. Quite frankly one has to ignore the situation entirely to come to that conclusion. The issue is still was he justified in shooting at all, that's it. He ran from the guy and was chased across a parking lot. He turned and shot the guy point blank as the guy was closing on him. You can watch the video.
Ironic he was the only one doing any killing.
How so ?
Because he stopped 3 others from killing him and others.
