I have to think some times its part if the big plan
Why they don't Crack down hard on drugs and users
Let them get strung out and high easier for politicans to get what they want with less resistance
Pass out more needles and drugs even safe space to do them in no one goes to jail every one gets lots narcan to have on hand just in case they party a bit too much
Same. I voted for the legalization of recreational MJ in Missouri. It passed.
I have no interest in consuming / smoking it myself though. I tried it after college / the Army. I didn't care for it. The experience seemed to last longer than just being drunk.
Regarding addiction, I've cut way back on alcohol. I can have a beer or mixed drink once in awhile and not feel to need to drink the whole bottle or case of beer in one sitting. I don't need to have a drink every single night.
I'm still addicted to cigs though. However, they don't cause you to loose control of your behavior, inhibitions, or driving skills.
I was 17 in 1968. The message was, "Turn On, Tune In, and Drop Out."
You were supposed to smoke grass and take other things. Two of my friends took it at face value, got into smoking pot three times a day, and they wasted their lives by "being groovy" and smoking a joint 3 times a day, morning, noon, and night. Charlie and Sam crawled into a bag of pot and stayed there for 50 years. Sad.
Sam married a gal when he was 20 years old, and she has supported him for the past 50 years, he has never had a job. Charlie lived in Mommie's basement for 50 years. Never had a job.
But they both had hair down to their belt, so they looked cool.
