Trying to get Thanksgiving sorted out....the older everyone gets the crazier the plans are

My brother's house is perfect for having large numbers of people we have had our Thanksgiving over at his house the past few years. What is funny is that he is not there. He has had ongoing plans with a friend of his for this holiday for as long as anyone can remember. So, I just buy the whole spread of food and take it over to his house and wait for everyone to show up. I even put up a huge Christmas tree over there and we do a dirty santa gift grab each year at Christmas.

This year so many have plans that we are not going to get together over there this year....I'm going with my brother over to his friends parents house. I've known them since the 80's as well, they are a GREAT bunch of people.

I'm still buying the spread of food for here at my house. There is a local diner that has a menu posted and you can pick up your order Thanksgiving morning. Its really good food and since I work so much its impossible for me to cook much of anything. I've learned I can't just plan to have NO food here because everyone will show up here expecting something to be here.

So, I'll have three casseroles, dressing, gravy, and some kind of desert here.
