You Bet, but that won't make you really fast. or purty.[}:)]
The real question is can he make good lasagne?

What is funny is reading some of the comments that have been made by leftys after he said he was a republican. Turns out they aren't near as tolerant as they claim.

    Big surprise there.

Man thinks he is a dog... starts acting like a dog, barking, etc. it's recommended he be locked up... mental instability.

Man thinks he is a woman... starts acting like a woman it's something to be commended/applauded?

Mental delusions are mental delusions no matter the package or form.

Bruce needs counseling at a minimum. Padded cell most likely.

Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain

If it had no impact on what is considered normal for society, I would agree. But, unfortunately, that is not the case.

i wasn't asking about "society" i was asking how it affects "you" directly? meaning who the hell are you to determine how I live my life? nothing personal mind you..aren't most of us here saying in effect----keep the damn government out of my life.? well if you don't want the government intruding, then you sure as hades don't wan't busy body fundamentalists dictating your life either

As a member of society, when society in general normalizes aberrant behavior, I am directly affected because the social mores deteriorate, the perverse becomes popularized and acceptable, it is taught in schools, it is required that it be accepted and I become a societal outcast for non-conformance and non-acceptance to the new norm. I can be sued, castigated, and deprived of liberty. If you can't see that as a serious effect on a person's life... even yours then I can't help you further. Keeping in mind of course that what you do in PRIVATE and as a non-public figure does not and can not have the same effect as what a public figure does... in PUBLIC. Your non sequitur is noted.

gotcha.i neither admire him or condemn him for a personal choice that i am sure has been troubling him for many years. this isn't a quick thought. he has had this demon on his back for a lifetime i would bet.whatever lies in front of him i hope he finds what it is that he is searching for. years ago i imagine those like him spent their years in the asylums.

All those steroids he "didn't take" back in the 70's have come home to roost...

so I'll throw this out for discussion. Clearly he is bat poop crazy. Should he loose his 2a rights? (not like he would ever exercise it....)

Isn't the litmus test whether he presents a danger to himself or others. If his mental aberration is limited to wanting to use the women's room after some corrective surgery and hormone therapy, I see no reason to deprive him of any rights.

try as i have, i've yet to see any impact on society. the newspapers still print their normal drivel, the grocery stores sell the normal things, kids still go to school and are itching for summer recess. the silver haired biddies still gossip at church. drivers still text, eat at the wheel, and not use their turn signals. the country music radio stations don't play the twangy music of the past. the head banger music is still trying to be relevant. classic rock and roll dominates most programming with the bubble gum pop music trying to be the IN thing. Democrats still want more taxes, Republicans want to take away deductions on the working man...NOTHING HAS CHANGED..society is neither helped nor hindered by this he/she/whatever wanting to change himself to make his body fit the description within his brain. he hasnt started looting, nor has he called for cessation of it. no politician has introduced legislation to ban it or to celebrate it. the stock market seems unaffected by this possibility of earth changing machinations...maybe my society isnt the same as yours. but then again i'm a libertarian, and not a fundamentalist

    So let me understand here...

Bruce Jenner, whether male or female, hasn't had an effect on my life in the past and I doubt in the future either. Whether Jenner be he, she, or it is of no consequence, other than the fact that our news media seem to think it important that I know the details. Luckily my electronic devices all have an "off" button.

Bottom line is that I didn't care then, don't care now, and will continue to not care into the future. I wasn't attracted to nor interested in Jenner when he was a he, the best he can hope for is to become an it, and he is going to be an ugly representation of a she at very best.

Some things I just don't need to know.[xx(]

I don't care one way or the other what people like Jenner do. Not my business. Lots more crazies out there in the public eye that are actually dangerous. Like many of the politicians running the country.

not for me, cause i adhere to the live and let live principle. the directions i take in life are of my choosings. i don't let anyone's picking parts out of a book and ignoring other parts to dictate who i want to associate with, or to separate myself from. i certainly don't take a fundamentalist' view of teachings and life lessons..if i did it would be quite hypocritical.

I would posit that paying someone to prune your tallywhacker is self harming and would qualify. I don't care what you do, just don't do it here and don't expect me to pay for it.
