I would like to know what he intends to do with his various businesses if he becomes POTUS. I just don't believe for a second he is just going to hand 100% of the reins off to anyone else. Is he going to run America from 8-5 & then deal with everything else for a few hours at night? Doubtful. Going from Billionare status to making $400K a year is a step down and if he really won't accept a salary then I'm even more suspect. Trump does NOTHING for free.

Trump would do well with a good cabinet around him.

    Go Cruz!

Cruz wants the same things Trump has said he wants.

Cruz just has a better history of actually following through with what he says he will do.

Cruz has my vote (and a couple of small donations as well).

    From the original post

"he will restore decency and respect to the office. if he doesn't win, there's going to be an outflux of people to Alaska, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. America won't be worth living in anymore, 8 years of Hillary would enslave us all, we'll end up a modern version of Nazi Germany."

When did the US lose Alaska ?

Talk about Cruz, he may be what you think you want but Cruz is against Social Security and Medicare regardless of what you paid in.

Trump talks of strengthening the program not killing it.

    Cruz is Satan on Steroids

    http://cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-jones/ted-cruz-advocates-commonsense-reforms-social-security

(CNSNews.com) - "If I'm elected in November 2016, I hope to lead the effort to...preserve and strengthen Social Security and Medicare for decades going forward," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told Fox News's Neil Cavuto on Thursday.

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/where-the-candidates-stand-on-social-security/

"The websites of the following candidates didn't post positions on Social Security or retirement plans: Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina. All of the information below comes from media quotes and interviews, listed in the order of a recent poll on the candidates' ratings."

"Cruz would raise the retirement age and cap increases in the cost-of-living adjustment. He also advocates allowing workers to save up to $25,000 per year in Universal Savings Accounts (USA)."

Trump talks of strengthening social security? HOW?

What Trump supporters are too distracted or stupid to realize is that he's running for president, spending millions, to live in the lap of luxury at taxpayers' expense...

You are the one that's STUPID! He's already living the life of luxury without anyone's tax money. Idiot!

So, perfesser, I suppose you believe he would rather live in his own house, drive his own car, fly his own plane - all at his own expense - instead of having someone else pay for it?

    Brilliant.

Exactly why I want him to win. Tear the house down, chaos in DC, fed employees walking off the job, politicians scared, the dem party seeing how much we dispise them and the rep party seeing how bad they are effing up.

Let Trump dismantle it all, better than a revolution!

Besides, what if he actually does a good job? A risk worth taking no?

A 70 year old billionaire that has accomplished most of his life goals and has his family set for life is probably not going into this thing with money on his mind.

He probably wants a safe future for his children and grandchildren first and foremost. Secondly with his ego, he wants to be known as the greatest president ever. That's my take and none of the BS I hear has swayed me yet. Keep trying to sway me though, im listening.

You may very well be correct, Mr. Cheese.

I just don't understand why he refuses to educate himself on the issues and process, and really don't understand why he acts like such a punk.

He would, IMO, have a lot more support if he would demonstrate he was actually serious about the job and stopped being the schoolyard bully. He has issues regarding Constitutional restraint as well, but that is a fairly common malady amongst politicians.

Because he's been raised by wolves. He has been taught by the best how to play for keeps, and that makes for a terrible politician. I still think he might self destruct.

I like the idea of what an outsider like Trump might be able to bring to Washington, but at the same time, I like what a friend of mine said about Cruz seeming to have the moral ascendancy that might help him to be president. That, and his attempts to keep company with Reagan is admirable.

The value of money is important to most sane people, but in the case of Mister Trump I don't think the value of money is the root of the importance of money to him. I think to Donald Trump, money is the scoreboard. If he can accumulate more money than anybody else in the world, he must be the most important man in the world. The Presidency is an even more powerful scoreboard than money. If he can be the President of the United States and the richest man in the world at the same time that will make him better than anybody else in the world, including his father. I believe the man is sane, but I think he has some very deep seeded personality defects. Not to mention I think he's still a democrat at heart.
The road to hell is paved with COMPROMISE.

I actually think he is a republican at heart but has been a closet democrat so that he can benefit himself in a democrat ruled city. I like your scoreboard analogy and I think you are on to something there.

I don't think he is lying to reporters now because there is no way to be a closet democrat and answer question after question without tripping up. If you tell the truth, there is nothing to worry about because you don't need to remember your lies. Until I see him start to get caught in some twisted lies, I'm giving him the benefit.

I have a few friends like him and they have a "short man syndrome". It's the same as your scoreboard analogy and they really have something to prove! Trump has some sort of this syndrome. He is not stupid, but he is too quick to pop off! If he doesn't get this under control I think he will implode. But it got him this far.

Wealthy folks become bored. They have everything they want and the only thing left is power. President of the US is (still) the most powerful individual on earth.

I feel strongly about this, and I admittedly became too heated. I should not have implied that Trump supporters are stupid. I apologize to all, I don't believe I've ever met anyone here that is stupid. Misinformed, mistaken maybe, but not stupid. [:D]

I believe Trump would absolutely accept every taxpayer-funded perk that comes with the presidency. He did not become wealthy by looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Why do you give two schitts what perk he would take advantage of instead of what he will do to improve or destroy our great country? Pull your head out of your * or go vote democrat.
