Ruth Ginsburg should resign from Supreme Court
Not only has Ginsburg made incredibly STUPID comments about the new POTUS but she has publicly stated SHE HAS NO INTENTION OF BEING IMPARTIAL TO THE NEW ADMINISTRATION.
Ginsburg should resign or be impeached. If nothing else she should recuse herself from any cases that might have a possible conflict of interest or where she can be proven to lack impartiality.

"This was a remarkably stupid and egregious comment for a sitting Supreme Court justice to make on the record. Say what you will about Justices Antonin Scalia, who died in February, or Clarence Thomas, but they never weighed in on presidential politics quite like this," Drezner writes. "The closest example I can find is that in January 2004, during an election year, Scalia went on a hunting trip with Vice President Dick Cheney. That action alone got legal ethicists into a lather."

Heard it the day Ginsburg made the announcement. Who cares ?? Ginsburg is NOT IMPARTIAL and to make it worse, lacks common sense and the ability to keep her mouth shut. Not someone who gets a vote on forming or interpreting the LAWS OF THE LAND.

I know its a life position but they should be a age limit or a term limit also / then your done . like a lot I doubt the originator's of the rules gave a thought to the long life some have now with the aid of medicine .

I doubt she will resign since Trump got elected.
She, like the news media, will attempt to disrupt anything the administration pushes & approves of......and I seriously doubt obama will quietly fade into the night either.

Doubtful anything Ginsburg does will be nearly as bad as the media in general. Personally hope she is required to vote on something Trump wants. That should be interesting.
What has happened in the past might be a good example of the future.
It's unclear if Ginsburg would recuse herself if ever called to judge a case involving Trump in the future. But a predecessor on the high bench who also commented on the presidential politics of the day provides an example.
Sandra Day O'Connor, then a Supreme Court justice, was heard at an election night party in 2000 calling the results "terrible" when CBS called Florida for Al Gore, according to Newsweek. After the comments were reported, she was criticized for having still voted when the case over Florida's contested election results eventually went to the Supreme Court.
She chose to join the majority in that case, which halted ballot recounting in Florida and eventually handed the presidency to George W. Bush.
