    Yes, the Republican leadership in Congress sucks on so many levels and for so many reasons, however, there's one signature on the bottom of the bill that sets everything in motion, and that would be Trumps. He alone had the power to stop it....but he didnt.

    Easy boys it is a omnibus bill. Trump knows he can spend this on the wall and other promises made. Time will tell.

    Exactly! This is not a budget,it's a bill. Trump can spend this money in any fashion he sees fit or not at all. Congress has screwed themselves by not passing a budget.

    They WANT to lose in 2019. They want to go back to the "well we tried but the Dems own the house". We just lost control of the House and the Senate. Most likely even the Executive branch.

    There?s anti gun bs in this bill. He signed it after all that blustering about how 8 years of attacks on the 2nd Amendment are over now that he was elected He?s directed the DOJ to figure out how to get the ATF to ban bumpstocks. He?s a liar and a traitor to the Constitution. The RINO?s in Congress are complicit in this mess as well.

    The republicans threw Trump under the bus on this one for sure. Neither the republicans or the democrats want him in office period, the voting public's desires be dammed. So the repub's with the help of the dim's constructed this monstrosity spending bill behind closed doors taking a page from the dim's playbook, ala the "ACA", and dumps it on the floor with no time to review it.

    They have less than 36 hours before another shutdown and so enough people from both parties (what a surprise) pass it for signing. Trump should have viewed it as a bluff and veto it but for whatever reason didn't. That said, this type of nonsense has been going on for decades why is anyone surprised by it?

    You really believe Trump had nothing to do with this?

    Dollars to dog crap Ryan and McConnell were directed to get a bill put together that the could and would pass the Senate. With the Trumpster's current tariff war idiocy, the stock market on course for a first quarter loss, and the revolving door of cabinet officials that is currently taking place, Trump did not want a government shutdown laid at his feet.

    The 'we need to feed the military beast' excuse is a lame as his excuse to avoid the draft.

    At some point, you Trumpettes will have to learn that Donald Trump is a left-of-center New Yorker who painted himself as something he was not, is not, and never had any intention of becoming.

    He was the swamp for 50+ years, and is quite at home in it now.

    Sorry Don, I'm a Rand Paul kinda guy. But lets not kid ourselves here, neither political party wanted this guy in the oval office no matter how he painted himself. IMO both parties are two sides of the same coin. Other than rhetoric they pretty much do the same thing and the ultimate fools are the American people.

    This budget was a political trap and Trump, willingly or unwillingly, fell in it hook line and sinker.

    I agree with you other than the statement that Trump was trapped. He is part of the problem, regardless of his protestations to the contrary.

    If one dimensional thinking causes anyone here to believe that you have been screwed by Trump and you think getting rid of Trump will solve your problems ... real or imagined...then consider this;

    What do you think will happen if the Democrats gain control of the House and Senate?...You will be "screwed, blued and tattooed", which literally means "cheated, robbed and beaten"...according to the urban dictionary.

    I wasn't a Trump fan but my vote was for ABH (Anybody But Hillary). Since then, I have been pleasantly surprised and will vote for Trump in 2020 and support Republicans running for Congress...I do not agree with Trump on all things but he is the right man for our Nation considering what is currently going on. He ain't perfect but he is better than the alternatives.

    I voted against Clinton, not for Trump. DJT sought election to bolster his ego, not because he really cares about running the country. He is not now and has never been presidential material, just a populist running the wave of discontent. We voters had high hopes. Our hopes are being stomped. If not for Clinton, he probably would not have made it into the WH. He should man up and admit to his incompetence as a national leader, and to his 180 degree turn on several issues, two of which are the Wall and the 2A. After admitting to that he should resign the presidency. He has no balls to do what he said he would do. Whoever follows him would have to try very hard to be a worse leader.
