What you fools don't recognize is that it makes no difference even if the 2A DOES give you total, unrestricted gun rights. You sell the American people short. Most of us do not desire Government protection. Most of us would prefer that an armed citizenry be available to stop your 'gangbangers' from wreaking havoc. Statistics prove that increased access to firearms reduces crime, as defending that in which you have a stake is a more powerful motivator than taking that in which you have no stake.

I had three conversations recently with the people who are pro-gun control, who had a conviction that "semi-auto, high-powered assault rifles" aren't necessary in hands of citizenry.
