A Man went to the Circus to watch the tents go up. They were using Elephants to Pull the Main Frames up, next the Canopy, Huge tents, which could hold three Rings and Thousands of People.

After the Tents were Up; Some of the Workmen were hustling around doing clean up and moving the advance equipment. One Worker was busy tying an Elephant to a Wooden Stake in the ground.

Ronnie Perkins: I am very much on your side and see many of the same things you do. One of your comments really got me thinking. The one about political power passed down from Kennedy to Kennedy, from Bush to both Bush sons, from Clinton to Clinton. In fact, now that I think about this, from a distance it would almost appear like we still had kings, queens and princes that get or have their position simply because of who they are, not because of what the people want. But let me say this.
You post some very detailed, informative and senseable ideas, facts, etc. You obviously are a thinking person with a good mind and memory and a lot of energy. But I hope you are using some of your talents on a local level because unfortutely those of us who read your posts are not going to be able to help you much, if at all. We are all probably too widely dispersed across the USA.The government power structure is an organized power structue, just as you have mentioned, and it only pays attention to other organized power structure. At voting time when the citizens, if they want to vote, have to join with millions and millions of their fellow citizens to help decide just which one of the crooks is going to get to run the country. To very rich people who can use their money to guy influence with the govt., to popular people (movie stars, etc.) who can call on powerful friends or can get the attention and support of the media. From what I have seen of your attitude I would trust you with power more than I would trust Bill or Hillary Clinton, Chuck Shumer, etc. But if you are going to make any progress I think you need to find a way to project organized power. And how, I don't know. But maybe you could use your talents to form a local group and as a leader of an organized group you could probably at least get the attention of your local government, and then go from there. Or use your intellingence to try and make your self wealthy as others have done. And if and when you create that wealth (that would be the best revenge) use that wealth to help the average person with their battle to keep the government from stealing their rights.

Longhunter: My god how much you remind me of me when I first started getting serious about reading and posting here. I was appalled at how so many gun owners could "waste" their time reading and posting about minor things such as how they got a traffic ticket, what happened on their job, etc., etc. I posted some comments that criticized them for not paying more attention to helping with the gun rights war. And I made a lot of people mad and I took a lot of heat (access my tr fox profile of posts and read for yourself. Many were "poofed"). I finally realized that we have to be grateful for what we have. Some gun owners will do nothing to protect their gun rights. Others will make some reasonable effort. Others work very hard and don't brag about it here or anywhere else. But most of them are you allies so don't give up on them or drive them away from you as you seem to be the kind of person we need more of.

TRFox: I understand you completely Sir; But the beginning of my Trials matured and evolved from a Sincere and Honest desire to help my Community. I was attempting to do my duty as a Citizen of this town and this county. I found all of the information (through the State Sec of Treasury, printed it up, then invited the Local News Papers to print it. The News Paper respects Power over Truth and naturally refused. I then became very outspoken and spread the "Facts" as best I could. Then someone challanged me to run for City Council, I didn't really care too but, at least, I could attempt to do so. For the first time in the History of our Local Paper; The editor placed me on the frontpage as well as most of the back page. He proceded to cut me to ribbons and called in a couple of Local Professors and the such to give an opinion of my Mental Competence. The facts in my possesion were ignored, but I wasn't. Yet I refused to quit, and doubled my effort to get the "Facts" out to the Public.
Problem was: I had a vulnerability; I owned a "Gun Shop". This is where their final attack came. First they had a Local Police Detective, (which sold Guns On Line for me) call the ATF and tell them I was transfering Guns to Police Officers without doing a background check, (this was after he stole an NIB M-1D with scope from me, while making a purchase for me from a customers estate).
Next: The ATF Licensing started their scenario, which took months of attempting to Break me. (Three different times their Agents- undercover- tried to get me to break the Law; I had no idea until it was furnished in the Disclosure information before Trial.
Their final blow came approxmately 2 years later, when they shipped an AR Law Enforcement Rifle (pre-Paid) to my store, and followed it in with a warrant.
It has all of the attributes of a Great Story, I may have to write in in Prison. it will have to be Listed Under "Fiction": Most Americans would not believe it possible.
So! If I seem Crass, Difficult, or Angry, it is because I have good reason to be so.
At this Point: I am beyond Fear, and have absolute zero respect for our Government or Their Minions. I refuse to be Intimidated by Trash, besides My Father taught me: "Call a Spade a Spade".

To give an explanation of the First Cause: This City has conspired against the People, by overbids, insider bidding, Theft, Graft and Corruption. Involving the Superintendent of Schools, The County Judge Exec.The Mayor, and about Half of the City Council. If I were to discribe the Council and their Connections, The Mayor and County Judge Exec. - The Superintendent of Schools, The Drugs as per Law Enforcement. Ronnie: In regards to your last post, I now realize that you have far more real life experience than me (even though I am older) in regards to fighting the citizen's erosion of rights and of your actually experiencing how corrupt our govt and its agents can be. In view of all that, everything I have suggested so far (as of 7-27-03 1550 hours centeral time) must seem like the naive dreams of a child to you. In that respect I don't know what the answer is for all of us who believe that power should flow FROM the people to the govt., not the other way around. Maybe the only THE ONLY hope is to keep on telling the stories of the dirty deeds of the govt. and as gunphreak mentioned when enough people get fed up maybe things will change.

LONG: I understand, if one hasn't been keeping up, it is difficult to catch up. For one thing: When a person realy starts noticing and collecting TRUE information; at first it is "Astounding", 2nd. It is dis-heartening, and if a person is not resolute as well as Devoted to the Cause. The Third Phase can be "Overwhelming".
