Hehe, of course we all know you really typed "b!atch" slap.
Gawd the language filter on these forums is hokey. I like how when I typed snit (thanks for that one, Comengetit) it became "fooey".

you're right! I got edited! hmmm who dunnit?
The duty to preserve one's self ought never be denied.
Do you think anyone in San Francisco could hold their wrist firm enough to shoot a real weapon and not say something like: "Ow... That hurt!" afterwards?
The duty to preserve one's self ought never be denied.
Have a cousin who has lived in san fransissyco for wome time now. The boy was born and raised in KY, but now he is A full fledged left coaster. Must be something in the water out there. When he comes home to visit, he loves to go out shooting guns, but he thinks guns have no place in A city like fransissyco. I've tried to reason with him on issue's like this, it just aint no use. He's got no problem with folks in the country owning guns, just not in the city. Don't make no sense to me[}:)]

I was just wondering why they even bother to outlaw handguns. I was thinking that they couldn't use them without hurting their pinkies or hurting their wrists from the recoil and all that.
They will probably outlaw the "limp wristed slap" naxt.
only a matter of time...

yeah, why would you wanna protect yourself in the city???? hehehe

I spent two months in SF last spring(not of my own will), and there are plenty of reasons to carry a firearm there. You must remember this is a city which pays it's homeless population. They receive something like $300+ a month to "help" while unemployed. This is not Unemployment Insurance. It was lovely to walk to work at 7:30am and see a guy crap on the sidewalk in front of you. There was a murder less than a block from the theatre I was working in. I saw a guy fire up a crack pipe on the sidewalk. I've seen people shoot up in public. All this on the main streets of SF. If they think this inept law will do ANYTHING, it will only hurt law abiding citizens. Hell, we all know this, why don't they get it? If this doesn't pass they will surely try another way.
I live in NYC and the laws here are as close to a ban as you can get. If you are lucky enough to own legally, you will have payed $400 for the licensing and application fees(all of which are non-refundable), and you would have chosen either 'home defense' license, where you can only take your gun to the range twice a year and only with local police precinct approval, or you chose a 'target' license where you can take to the range as you like, but you cannot use it for home defense. It is illegal to carry on your person.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
reading about all these stupid gunlaws in other states makes me damn glad to live in KY. We don't need no selfdefense law. 1933 KY supreme court ruling Gibson Vs. Commonwealth on the issue of self defence. Is Kentuckians are known for their tenacity. They have never ran, do not run, and are never expected to run, but do have the right to stand their ground, and meet force with force. I really feel for all you folks in nyc, and fransissyco.[}:)]

here's an idea, why don't we start us a campaign to get all the gun grabbin weeine's in the usa, to move to the left coast, or nyc, massechussits, and dc. Then let all the freedom loving folks currently there to move to the rest of country. We will agree to not go there, if they agree to not come here.[:p]
Substitute "gun grabbin weeine's" with "gun toting Palestinians" and "left coast, or nyc" with "West Bank or Gaza Strip" and you will have the same answer.
Basically, they want the whole pie, and they want all of us to be disposed of, one way or another.
Concessions embolden them.
