I must say, I have no faith in the supreme court as of late. Since 1933, they ain't worth nothing. I really don't give the first tinkers d8mn what they say when it come to my guns. If they rule I cant have them, I ain't going to give them up. Unlike many things that people tend to find in the constituion today that ain't there, the right of the people to keep, and bear arms is. My state constituion is even better. Let them say what they want. If they want them, why don't they come for them. Instead of sending the alphabet gang to die in their stead.quote:Originally posted by mcaso
This question can only be settled by a Supreme Court ruling. There can be no Supreme Court ruling until some one ponies up the money for the legal battle. So unless one of you millonaire out there puts up the money things are going to remain the same. After all the NRA, which has never shown any indecation of filing a Supreme Court case, has poured our money into that monmument HQ instead of taking said action. The GOA, also, doesn't appear to be interested in paying for a Supreme Court case. And the gun manufactors are ignoring the matter. All of this means is that every day we loose more and more of our rights. While those who are receiving our money are smiling all the way to the bank.
So those of you who try and shout me down and/or belittle me save your breath and spent alittle time FOLLOWING THE MONEY. Remember there can only be court ruling AFTER there has been a court filing. Or am I wrong? Have the above named filed the case?

It does not matter how much money you have, or how many cases you file. The bottom line is, that the supreme court does NOT have to hear ANY case. There have been cases filed, trying to get a ruling on the 2nd, and the supreme court REFUSES to hear them. Simple as that. Ya, I know, it sucks.
Concerning the NRA and the GOA, both groups know they can not force the SC to hear a case. They know the money is better spent in other areas. With the limited funds they have, why waste it on something you can't win. (NOT saying they don't waste it in other ways!!! [;)])

Intelligents is the ability to go though life without an education.
Wrong!!! Education is the process to which intelligence grows.
Our politicians are overly educated, true, but the main problem with overeducation I see is when one suddenly believes they know more than everyone else, and everyone else should follow their lead. This is called megalomania, or illusions of grandeur.
When gov't educators do so, they do it on a scale. A scale is nothing more than numbers and patterns. The values of these scales can be and are tinkered with on a regular basis, and the books are constantly edited for content.
This lack of understanding puts us in the path of destiny.... sooner or later, we are going to have to understand what we are and why we are here, or the train will squash us dead like bugs.

Those who would offer any interpretation that would relegate Amendment II to "relic" status of a bygone era are blatantly stating that the remainder of the Bill of Rights isn't worth a damn, either.
