Hey I just called a friend who lives in Austria ( boy that will be interesting when the office phone bill comes in) Anyway, there is hunting but there is NO BOWHUNTING in Austria. There is bowhunting in several surrounding countries and the people are trying to get it to be legal in Austria too. I admit when I am wrong and there is one case that I was.
If this kid is for real then I apologize to him and offer my hand of friendship.
If not, then whomever it is I guess was surprised to see 2 people on here who somewhat speak German.

In austria there aren't so many people who are so active as the people in tjis forum are.
Where I live, my state sold a life time license that allows me to hunt whitetail deer, turkey, and all small game for the rest of my life without having to buy another license. It cost me $550 and I don't know what the conversion would be to your currency. With the amount that I hunt, I have already more than made up the cost of the license. So now, it doesn't cost me anything to hunt here with either a bow, shotgun, or muzzleloader. There are places within a 5 to 6 hour drive that I know of where you can pay to hunt different aminals for $500 - $1500 for a good sized animal but not overly big.
Oh, and for the time being, I'm not falling for this rumor that you might be someone else. I will take your word that you are from Austria. What do you do over there? What's your job?
My job at the moment is just to go to shool
but i get 150_ a month pocketmoney so i could by the most things i'D like to .
but i save the most ao my money to buy things for bowshuting.

i assure you mean a guided hunt tho? i'd say around $1500 to $2000 would get you a decent hunt.
