Deepest dive? about 1500' - in. Don't think the depth gauge ever registered more than 20 on that dive... deepest down was 120.
NO WAY!
First off I could not believe they were that far out with that small of a boat and then to dive that rig solo. Them guys were either crazy or had balls the size of the fish they were spearing.
No longer dive[|)]
I've killed WAYYyyy too many fish,to give them a clear shot at me..
NO WAY!

Unfortunately have not been tank diving for about 13-15 months at this point! [:(] [V]
Have never dove with tanks outside of the Americas/Caribbean. Favorite diving area to this point has been Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Hope to get there before there are many more storms.
Don't want to wait until next season, to see what damage the [8] BP [8] oil gusher may cause. [?] [:(]
okkim Why were you asking ? ? ?
Deepest dive was 140', no desire to go much deeper.

The last dive I went on was over 10 years ago now. The Bahamas....that is an excellent place to go (especially nite dives!)
Never certified- got a friend to fill for me.
He used it more than I did.
Never any spectacular dives.
Still fun.
Sold gear 6 or 7 years later.
Best ever is Papua New Guinea, second best is Fiji. Deepest I have hit is 135 ft. Deep dives are interesting, but I'd much rather spend an hour on a reef at 50 - 60 ft so you can really look into all the nooks and crannys.

Grand Caymans.
I owned my own compressor. I had every Cert. that was ever offered, even Chamber Operator.
Bounce dive to 175 ft. Didn't see anything worthwhile so I didn't need to go back.
Recovered a few dead bodies for the Sheriff's Dive team. Don't need to do that again.
Got to hang out with several top names in spearfishing, underwater film and photograph.
Stopped diving when I got a knee replacement. Got rid of a lot of spear guns, scooters, underwater cameras and housings. Still got a lot of stuff to get rid of.
