He told me they would do my hip replacement anytime I wanted, He tried to get me to wait till fall till I just couldn't take it anymore, I told him no as soon as possible, who knows in a year there may be more wrong and I won't be able to have the surgery. He did tell me they could now go through the front of the leg/hip and recovery would be a lot less painful. Neighbor lady just had hers done little over a month ago and you would never know they did it, she is scheduled this friday for her other hip and it was from the front. My last replacement they cut my whole butt cheek from front to back and it was 3-4 months before I was back to normaland 6-8 before I was doing everything I wanted to do.

I am hoping with the new technique it will only be a few months till I am back to 100% , but at least I will have warm weather to rehab with, and it is more or less outpatient surgery, being they send you home sameday!! soonest they can do it is May though but this gets 2of the 3 surgeries done for the year, only one left will be the corneal transplant and I doubt they do it till fall. did someone mention it no fun getting old.
