Trump's CNN Town Hall performance.

Well, by now I am sure that most of you are aware that someone who looked like they could be a Dylan Mulvaney stand-in named Kaitlyn Collins tried their best to entrap and humiliate Trump during a town hall. And instead what happened is it made Trump look really likeable and good, and with an audience that I wouldn't have expected to throw so much support his way, but did at just about every turn.

Probably the highlight, was when he pulled out the receipts regarding Jan 6th tweets showing how he told his supporters to be peaceful, totally bamboozling and destroying the narrative of the CNN host of questionable gender.

As you folks know, I am not the most ardent Trump supporter, but damn if he didn't come out of that looking like a winner.

ETA:

And probably... no... UNDOUBTEDLY... the best part about the whole thing is the spinning heads of the libtards at the AUDACITY of CNN to host such an event, let alone how good it all made Trump look. Their screeching has reached entirely new heights. LMAO.

I saw the town hall and was surprised by the audience that seemed to be on his side. I expected CNN to have arranged a more hostile environment. They fired Cuomo and then fired Lemon so perhaps they are slowly gravitating toward the middle of the road. It has been entertaining watching the lib mouthpieces hysterical reaction today.

I did think Trump performed well. Almost like he rehearsed and practiced a bit before the show. Unfortunately, because he is so polarizing, his fans remain fans and the haters remain haters. The show probably didn't change anyone's mind. I still think he should step aside and throw his support behind another candidate, but I don't think his ego will allow that. Bob

As to what CNN is doing. They're free falling in ratings and need someone to save them. That is all. Absent Trump on the national stage where they can quote him and discuss him ad nauseum they are so boring no one watches or pays attention. They could hire real talent, but instead they just choose to run Trump on their platform. For his part "all press, even bad press, is good press" so he agrees to do these types of events.

Interesting that CNN had scheduled the town hall for 90 minutes but cut it off at 70.

You are probably correct. For Trump any publicity that keeps him in the public eye is desirable. For CNN anything that can generate viewers and increase their abysmal ratings equates to advertising dollars. So it boils down to ego and greed forming a partnership. No real public benefit, just entertaining the masses. Bob

If you think CNN and other Liberal news outlets are there to make money, you're only partially correct. They make money not from advertising sales, but from the likes of George Soros, The Clinton Foundation, etc.

Their propaganda is meant to keep the Kool Aid drinkers agitated.

They can't spread their propaganda if they can't keep the lights on. We're seeing media close their doors lately. MTV News, Mail Tribune, Buzzfeed, and others.

I believe that Trump is doing what SO many people said he should do.......reaching out and trying to talk with people who are not on his side. He went on that show to gin up support from SOME of the liberal audience. If he gets 5 or 10% of their vote, then it's a done deal. I think what he did was presidential and to better the USA, not ego.

Biden won't come out of his basement for a softball interview with MSNBC.
