I'm building a 1911 for my birthday, but next year I'm going to knock out about 4 or 5 of the most expensive items on my list before I take a 2-3yr hiatus from adding to the collection. I want to spend some time enjoying what I have and building more, rather than buying.
My next gun I think will be a mossberg 500 persuader or the remington 870. Need a good home defense gun! But yesterday bought my first handgun a glock 23 with night sites! Wanted a O/D green with night sites but no one had one, so got good old original black with night sites.
Steyr Scout Tactical .308win
Mag-well extencion and two 10-shot mags.
Scope: Schmidt&Bender PM II 4-12*50, Bryant-sight, 34mm maintube with extra long sunshadetube
Scoperings: Wide BadgerOrd steel rings
Scope Flipcaps from Uncle Mike's - black (no seethru-glass here)
Extras:
Wooden shells to spiff up the looks and feel of the fiber stock.
BadgerOrd cosine Angleindicator for trejectorycalculation
Customed leather 3-point attached carrying sling
Alucarrycase/storagecase
Finnish made Reflex-type silencer/supressor.
You guessed it... another Winchester Model 1885 (original) Single Shot rifle[^][:D]. I figure that I can find something to add to my collection at the Big Reno show in August[^].
S&W 659 9mm
i was planning on the CZ52, but i think saxon gave me some info about the availabilty of parts in the future. But definately the S&W 659 9mm. It will be my first handgun, not first time shooting one just first time owning one.
One of my best buddies past away last year. He had a Browning Hi Power 9mm Silver/Chrome. It "got lost" and I would like to buy one just like it. Nice gun, great memories.
This will probably be my only purchase this year as we're almost done paying everything off and I want to get it all of our debt(sans cars and house) paid off by summer. After that I plan on hitting our car payments extra hard. I want to have just a mortgage payment in 2-3yrs. Once that is taken care of, we're moving to the countryside. My hobby is going to have to take a back seat to financial responsibility[xx(]. Then I'll be able to buy all the guns I want. Hell, I bought 8 last year[:)]. My collection is pretty well rounded enough to keep me busy. I'll still stop by a couple gunshows and look for a deal steal.

Well next gun is a Glock 35. Next gun related item is going to be a Gemtech Halo.

Well I got the G35, but the Halo can is way down on my list. I am getting a suppressed 9mm AR upper though does that count?
