He is now redoing the ferrett cage and lets just say I am glad that the girls arent around cause the language is real colorful..
His reason for redoing the cage is because he needs something to do so come on guys gather up some stuff so he will sit down and start wisely removeing people

I respect the truth too much to bring it out on every occasion.
The biggest regret of my life is the number of temptations I've resisted successfully.
I quit smoking right at 5 years ago. I set the date/time a couple of days in advance, then at noon that day I tossed away all but one of my cigarettes. I put that one cigarette where I kept my wallet, glasses and keys at night and every time I felt like having a smoke I'd go take a big whif of that cigarette. I'd smell it a couple of times then put it down and go do something else. The first couple of days were real tough, but before I knew it a week had gone by, then another, and soon I was at my 1 year anniversary. If he can make it past 3 days then the physical addiction to Nicotine will be broken and all he has to contend with is the mental addiction.
Good luck.

Tske him to a Toyota dealership. Make him inhale next to a salesman.
Yep, standing next to a salesman is worth about two unfiltered Camels[;)]

And you're not even talking about cigarettes.

Good luck to him.... I quit roughly about four months ago. You can expect him to get real cranky. I did. I was pretty sure that my wife wanted to buy me a whole carton just to return me to normal. it'll pass... again, good luck to him .... and you.

I quit smoking about two months ago. Still dip, but not as much
as before. My wife bought me a can of mint packets (like Bandits, but
no tobacco), they work pretty good. When I decide to quit dipping I
will use them.

Ahhh, ummm, "rest" is a rare thing around here anyway.
Must be married. [:p][:D][;)] j/k [:o)]
Seriously, back in Feb. I got sick with the flu (or whatever it was that was going around).
I quit for right at 4 weeks. After 3 weeks, I NEVER FELT BETTER!
I didn't have the cravings that some talk about and being around smokers didn't bother me. [8D]
Why I started smoking again? [?] I have no idea. [V][xx(] I just grabbed one of the wifes smokes and lit it up. Been smoking ever since. [V]
At least I'm not back up to 2+ packs a day..........yet. [:0][B)]
I NEED to quit again. [8D]

Dang! I thought it was just me. The longer I'm married, the less "rest" the wife passes out.
Attitude is important. I quit after more than 20 years because some how I knew it would kill me, so I really wanted to quit. So it was easier than I thought. Having said this thread is giving me one of those rare jonsey feelings. I guess you never loose it completely. Cigs will kill you Nunn, good luck.
Well, maybe I was just lucky, but I "lost it" completely and Nunn can too. I started smoking unfiltered Camels in bootcamp in the Corps because after putting up with the DI's kicking/working our butts off and then also beating the crap out of us for minor mistakes, a cigarette was the only "pleasure" I could find. Smoked for over 10 years and loved it. Used to wake up in the AM, roll over and light up a smoke and finish it, get up, fix a nice cup of hot tea and smoke another one. By then I felt GREAT!
But then I got tired of going around stinking and coughing plus worry about lung cancer. Quit cold turkey (only way avaiable in 1970) and WILL NEVER GO BACK! I could light a cigarette for you today (even when drinking or after a meal) and hand it to you without any desire to continue smoking or even wanting to inhale.
folks, you CAN defeat that devil Mr. Nicotine. Just be strong and it all becomes good.
P.S. even if you cut down to only one cigarette A WEEK you are still a smoker. Stop competely before you even thing about counting the days as being a "former smoker" such as me. JMHO
