It that time of year again, summertime! I'm looking for suggestions on a good "pocket gun" for summer carry. Something that is small enough that I can conceal it a pocket, preferably in some type of pocket holster that goes right in the pocket. I don't have a specific caliber requirement or capacity requirement, I'm open to all suggestions. Small size and concealability are the most important aspects I am looking for.

Always go with revolvers for reliability!
If 38 don't stop the argument....RUN!

AMT 45 Backup [ouch!]
I works good in hot weather. Fits into the pocket of my shorts and nobody knows it there.
For the woods a whole different story. Big iron; 45 ACP usually.
Keep your Powder dry and your Musket well oiled.

1. Wheelgun, Smith 642
2. Auto, Kel Tech PAT.
The former is more reliable, and shoots a more powerful round, but its has slightly less capacity, costs a bit more, and is more bulky.
The new Kel-Tec single stack 9mm is probably pretty good too, though its got to be larger than the 380 and a bit heavier, and I dont know if it is available yet for sale.
Summer: Beretta 418 .25 ACP Can't see it at all in my jeans pocket
Fall and Spring: Sig P232 .380 easily covered by windbreaker or flanel shirt
Winter: Colt 1911A1 .45 hidden under heavy winter coat

Kel-Tec P3AT .380acp, 6+1 capacity, can get pocket clip or wallet shaped holster, extremely light-7 ounces, very small, can be found for around $250 new.
I neither Endorse or recommend this technique be used![;)]
