Anti-NRA Blowhards

Recently, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals decision in the case of the NRA vs Chicago ruled that the Heller decision making the 2nd Amendment an individual right, does not apply to states and gun rights.
(Note: this lawsuit, trying to prove that the Heller decision does make the second amendment apply to individuals and gun rights, and does force the states to recognize that right, was filed only and solely because of the time, money and effort of the NRA.)
In a competing case, in the 9th circuit court it was ruled that in the case of Nordyke vs King that the 2A does apply to the states.
So, since we have two conflicting decisions from two different circuit courts, this will probably end up going to the US Supreme Court. The NRA and gun owners like myself will be providing what help we can to make the supreme court hear this case and to decide in the favor of gun owners.
This is what the NRA and other gun owners like myself have been doing. In the meantime, what the anti-NRA blowhards have been doing is, well, just blowing hard. Just as they will shortly after I post this.

You still cannot run fast enough to outdistance the nra dismal record of gun control and cooperation with the government.
But then...you don't really WANT to distance yourself from NICs checks, and filling out forms...DO you, fox.
Oh..by the way. The Heller case was a net LOSS of gun Rights..not a gain.
Naturally, as a gun controller..you do not see it that way...
How many years have you been on the NRA payroll fox and what, exactly, is your position with those quislings?
Actually, I find you personally disgusting. I mean that, really.[:)]
At least...he thinks he is.
More like a snake...hissing sweet seduction of the benefits of government controls on citizens Rights...
Can someone please translate TR's lawyer talk into plain English for me?
You might try for a translation at the NRA-ILA. That is likely where he gets his arguments and likely where his Dad works. He must pick up on the after-dinner conversations at home, then regurgitate them here.
Incorporation of the letter of 'Heller' to the States will be another step backward, though the simpler amongst us will call it victory.

The nra is trying to force states to accept this weird, twisted version of `shall not be infringed'.
The nra and foxes of this world have been popping Champaign corks ever since the decision ..for their version of gun control has been rewarded.
Such sad twisted little fearful men.
Did anyone hear something.?.?
I heard an obnoxious sound and smelt sumthin' foul.
Time to take out the trash.
it496 (or whatever your name is) regarding your reply on the politics forum in relation to my post. Since you are a "peace officer" (not good enough to be a real cop??) I would think that you at the very least would be a good judge of people. Sadly, you have seriously misjudged me. You appear to believe that I give a rat's * what you and your other yellow * think of me; or what you have to say to/about me.
Time to take out the trash.
You care.[:)]
You seethe.[:)]
You fume.[:)]
You try.[:)]
You fail. [:)]
You suck.[:)]
UNBELIEVABLE

UNBELIEVABLE
Correctamundo.
He always does marginally fine until he gets to the part that says "Shall Not Be Infringed".
There, he chokes, every time.
Understandably, they are upset. Gun controllers all, they see their agenda exposed for the rotten corrupted path that it is.
One would feel sad for them...if it wern't for the fact that they have sold out America and the Bill of Rights.
History will view them as conquering heros...if the Socialists/Fascists win....
and the damnable traitors they are, if those that love the Constitution win.
Better tell Wayne and Chris that it ain't working, again.[:)]
Not meaning to be a smartass and I ask it genuinely to have folks educate me a bit as to what else is out there, but other than saying "NRA stinks" what's the contribution?
This is very true!
We might be enjoying an actual freedom without gooberment interference, had the NRA stayed with their training programs, and out of the political arena, where they rapidly became infected by the parasitic entity's that reside at those levels, and joined them in the destruction of our rights!!

BTW ya lost the little gal that tried to sign me up over the phone last week, after listening to a bit of TRUTH, she defected... to the JPFO ! [:D]
This really pisses me off!. You guys who knock the NRA every chance you get. Just where in the HELL do you think us gunowners would be today if the NRA had not been running buffer for us all these years. Sure they are not perfect and sometimes they have to compromise to save in other areas and they do always BEG for money but if you do not want to give nobody forces you to. WAKE UP. None of the other tag alongs could do what the NRA has done for us and if not for the NRA we would not enjoy the freedoms we have today. STUPID * every one of you who knock the NRA! WAKE UP![:(!]
[?][:(] Your view of freedom must come form where the sun dont shine.

Compromise? You gotta be pooptin' me.[xx(]
But the anti-NRA talkers are doing something too. Thankfully, talk is cheap enough for them. [xx(]
So what do the anti NRA'ers do to fight gun control? And by that I mean aside from voting for progun types and not voting for antigun politicians. Have they formed a group that can do better than the NRA? Knock on doors, spread the word on their own?

I personally am doing plenty!
I am the SC State Coordinator for the 2nd Amendment March (www.secondamendmentmarch.com). I do work with alot of Pro-NRA people but am not shy about the fact that I am not a NRA supporter (I also make it known why I am not a NRA supporter and people I have met tend to understand my feelings on the subject). I am donateing aprox. 30 hours per week towards this and have several hundred dollars of my money put into it as well.
I also have joined the GOA and the South Carolina Grass Roots Org. (http://www.scfirearms.org/) who both take a much more no compromise view of the 2nd.
There are plenty of things that a person can do to support the 2nd that does make a difference without supporting the NRA.
And as several on here have said in the past, the NRA does some good things as far as for kids and teaching but they will not ever have my support untill they either start supporting the 2nd as it was written or get out of politics!
its not about rifles anymore.
thank you.
have a nice day.

The same ones (screwball, light496) are posting the same nothing three or four times. Boys, it's no crime that you can't afford the NRA dues at this time. Obama is doing all he can to put someone's money in your pockets since you I helped him by voting for Ron Paul.[:p]John McSwine[;)]

Blah, blah, blah..........ad nauseum[:p][:p][:p]
Take your NRA propaganda and stuff it up yer *! I'll NOT support ANY organization that bargains away my RIGHTS, period! We all KNOW what the NRA is up to and it's called self-preservation, in the name of profit (for the officers of the org.) and disguises itself as a protector of the Constitution! MAKES ME SICK!!
TR, I was wondering about you the other day, sorry we had to meet up this way.............
When will you NRA idiots figure out the definition of "right". The mere existance of ANY of these orgs, indicates belief that it is a privelege. I suppose that fact sails right over your heads.
A "right" is retained in ONLY one way, NOT by hiring some dumb * corrupt group to pretend they will do it for you, no, only by exercising a "right" can it be held out of reach of the criminals known as CONgress. Too late, huh? That's what laziness secures for you. Our "lords and masters" are the direct result of laziness. They counted on it, and we didn't let them down.
To argue over the silly useless NRA is actually quite wasteful of time. We have big fish to fry, but instead we do....this. Exactly what they want us to do......
go figure.
it496 (or whatever your name is) regarding your reply on the politics forum in relation to my post. Since you are a "peace officer" (not good enough to be a real cop??)
Your assertion is completely invalid to begin with, but coming from you,(a mall cop) even this is a shock. Definition of "blowhard", eh?
Does the staff at your congressional office in DC know you by name or not, before you put down some org that is trying do your job first.
May I be so bold to ask what have you done to keep our guns, just spout off. Enough said at least they are trying, How many of you have done anything about the Obama Health care just sit on your butts and *. Been to a tea party, signed petitions , visited you elected offices on any of the above topics probably not. I do see Kevin trying to do something. How many here have been to their state Capital to error your grievances not many I bet.
Does the staff at your congressional office in DC know you by name or not, before you put down some org that is trying do your job first.
You make *-u-mptions and bets concerning things/people you know very little about, at least where I'm concerned. I can't tell you the number of letters/faxes I send in a given month to our "elected officials" reminding them of my opinions regarding 2A, immigration, health care, etc.
Everybody that is paying attention agrees that the people have to fight against the corrupt slime in office and the bureaucrats. But there is not so much agreement about the best way to fight them.
The fundamental problem is there aren't enough people paying attention. The corrupt scum * politicians will continue to win until there are enough paying attention. One thing is for sure, gun rights advocates shouldn't be fighting each other.
