Over 5,000 attendees today. I hope Cuomo and his cronies get the boot. [:(!]

A 7K difference is fairly large.
I have heard nothing about it anywhere until these posts.
Hope it accomplishes something.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
According to nyforester, there were 12K attending.

That figure was from the NYS Police. They could have been ordered to underestimate the crowd to downplay the rally.

I hope that was the case.
Why does this always happen in terms of estimating crowds?
Over estimate for certain issues, and pretend like it never happened for others.[xx(]

Don't let M1aguy hear that!![;)]
I was there all day. I haven't heard any estimates but people in the crowd were thinking somewhere around 10k. Should have been more. Will it make a difference. I don't know. I hope so. At least I can say I did something.
....and "ice falls" on I-90 on the way home.
I don't see 10K or more, but I wasn't there.
Why is 90% of the crowd older white folks?
I know the answer, I just hate to see this over and over again when it comes to issues of concern.
I guess most of the younger generation won't mind losing their rights, or living under tyrants.
Yes, there are exceptions,.....that's why I used the word 'most.'
I wish you folks all the best up that way.

I heard that the State Police are down playing the count and the actual count is 10,000 - 12,000. I was there and it was packed !
Guntech I Was Right to Your Right Must have Been Standing Right next to You
Woody....I was specifically looking for you. I even described your 'stache to my friend, so he could help me look.
Sorry I missed meeting you guys.
Did you see (or hear) the guy with the megaphone that was on my other side? Annoying SOB![:D]
for now my hat is off to you [:D][:D][:D][:D]
Hey! I'm in of those pics...green shirt, grey "Una-bomber" hood all the way to the left...
Nice to meet you....sort of![:D]
So much for our liberal, anti-gun Mass Media. What would happen if we had a rally against the 1st Amendment. I'll bet they would sue the hell out of everyone in sight along with appropriate headlines and 5 minute expert commentaries on prime time.
More pics....apologies for the quality....they are from my cell. I forgot my camera.[:(] They crowd estimate I heard was 10,000 to 12,000.
...
The pics aren't working for me...
Can they rest of you guys see 'em ?
I live in NYC. I couldn't attend because of health issues. Anyway, the terrible thing is that this rally was completely ignored by all 3 major TV networks. I don't know about FOX, but they usually do not carry NYC or NY State news.

Local media here had very little coverage. However, they had daily coverage of the less than 100 people that "occupied" Albany Park last year. [V]

You too, next time we all should have our user names on our backs...
Have seen/heard ZERO about it here, on FOX, or talk radio.
If that would have been 12K black folks griping about something ANYWHERE,......it would be all over the news.[xx(]
When the Dollar collapses all the folks who work won't have a job to go to. The Protests will get huge and scare the politicians.

For every citizen there, there were probably two more who could not go for various reasons.

At least two....I know of four that wanted to go, but couldn't due to work schedules.
I met my State Senator, Patty Ritchie, at a I-90 rest stop on they way home. She was on her way home from the Capitol, also. We were both in a rush to get home, so all I had time for was to tell her "Thank you" for voting against the SAFE Act and for helping us with the repeal effort. Her response was "SAFE is unconstitutional and worthless as a crime prevention measure."
I know a few people who could not attend. There were some younger people there but not enough.
We need to reach out to the kids more.

Sounds to me like she needs to be voted back in when time comes... [;)]
