Awesome as usual thanks for sharing. Do you exhibit these anywhere? Contest that type of thing?
Unfortunately, my carvings don't get a lot of exposure offline. To the extent there are local contests, they tend to be judged in the day, and mine doesn't look like anything until it gets dark.
Online contests mostly tend to be of the voting variety, which basically means whoever nags the most friends to vote wins, not necessarily which required the most skill to create.
So I mostly just carve pumpkins as an annual ritual for my own enjoyment. We don't even get trick-or-treaters here.

FS is the GunBroker version of "The Great Pumpkin" from Charlie Brown.
Every Halloween she rises from the pumpkin patch and bestows presents upon the children of this forum.....and then is gone, until next Halloween.
You guys would get sick of me if you had to deal with me 365 days a year. [}:)]
Well it is great work thanks again for sharing with us I know I am not the only member who looks forward to seeing your creations!

Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!
Was hoping you would show up to share again this year. See ya next year?
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

truly just amazing I never imagined pumpkin carving at that level until I saw your fist one posted on GB and you always bring a smile to a lot of faces on the forum
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

Thankfully we get to enjoy them too.
I look forward to seeing them every year.
Ahuhuhuhu... You think your taste is too refined for our pastries, don't you, deary? Ahuhuhu... I disagree with that notion. I think your taste... Is exactly what this next batch needs!
Happy Halloween! This year, I carved Muffet, an anthropomorphic spider child from the video game Undertale. I used my own pattern on a natural pumpkin.

Wish you would stick around and post more.
P.s. the carving is exquisite as always. Thanks for sharing!

I always welcome a visit from Miss Slippers and think the artistic talent is wonderful.
But I also wish she would post and share in the normal forum fashion with us as well - we all would welcome her input on issues and I am positive she has much to contribute that would be welcome by all.
Oaken Mom and Locust Fork could use another strong female poster and I for one would enjoy such an additional perspective and voice.
I have been here for 17+ years and FS is one of my favorite submarine posters - popping up only rarely...
GunBroker made it a pain in the butt to be able to reply to threads. (Since I didn't have a separate auction account -- I have no need of one -- I could no longer reply as FreudianSlippers without jumping through multiple hoops.)
Without further ado:
Here's Johnny!
This year, I carved Jack Torrance from the 1980 film adaptation of The Shining. I used my own pattern on a natural pumpkin.
It took over 10 hours to carve.

Hurray! Just wouldn't be Halloween without your post! Thanks for posting and jumping through the Hoops. Amazing that you don't break or tear any of the small detailed areas.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Truly refulgent artistry there, FS.

I was hoping you made the switch so we could see your new carvings.
A good looking attorney she used to be a regular forum member, long, long ago.
Wish you would stick around and post more.

mike, did you used to have a different name?
With talent like that I'll bet she could drill a hole smaller than it started!
Don’t know who drug this up but thanks . I enjoyed seeing her work again
