Longest shot you ever made.

I had two long range shots today. I took out a nutria at 304 yds today and then took out a beaver at 360 yds. I am shooting a Rem XR-100 in 22-250 with a Burris 6-12x50 scope. What are some of your most memorable shots?

Actually, it was 1000 meters (yes, 1 kilometer) with a Mk 19 grenade launcher. Hit the target with 4 out of 8 rounds. The first 4 were fired in pairs and were used for ranging shots.

I took out a Tiger at 16,231 meters with my .22 single shot, open sighted TACTICAL ASSAULT rifle. Same shot also killed a couple of Nuns on the way.

Wow, did Chuck Norris sell you this rifle? Also, you forgot to mention that it was a .22 SHORT.
The squirrel was headed down a walnut. I aimed at the head and hit in the shoulder. Wish my eyes were still that good; I've been in bifocals for 3 years now.
I promptly looked at my buddy and said "Did that just happen?"
2 miles! Took a T-72 in a M1A1 Abrams![:D]
I thought you were a truck driver, not a tank gunner....

You are right! But don't I get some credit since without my fuel they would not have been ablr to pull the trigger?
After all I only took half the credit since the Abrams can hit from 4 miles![:D]
While on the 1 Infantry Division rifle team, we repeatedly fired at 500m at a 10" bull, I seldom missed. Surprisingly when I went through a mini 2 week sniper course, we never fired over 300m. go figure
250 is nothing still, but running !
I asked the wife to marry me and she did. [:D]
I will say it was a L O N G shot .....
The tank doesn't need fuel to shoot the gun, does it? Last time I checked it wasn't absolutly necissary....
It is nessisary if he don't want to be a sitting duck![:D]
I use the same rifle to blow up oil refineries and derail freight trains.
Did you notice all yards are evan yards no 542.3 ft.??? [}:)]
Okay! I admit it! It was only 149.87 feet! I was just trying to impress everyone with my shooting, so I exaggerrated!
Actually, I only know it was 50 yards since the range had yardage marked. [:D]
2 miles. A Boeing 747 taking off from JFK, using my ultra-deadly, armor-piercing, cop-killer .50 BMG terrorist rifle.

You for got passing asteroids-[:D]
When I was 19, I did a guy in Laos with a rifle shot at a thousand yards in high wind. Maybe eight or even ten guys in the world could have made that shot. It's the only thing I was ever good at... Well, see you tomorrow.
I guess we should register you as a Lethal Weapon [:D]
I did shoot some stuff from 10,000 feet (Alt.) once, lets see thats about 3333 yards...

Dang fuelers!! Always trying to ride our coat tails to glory!! I miss my tank!!
I held steady on the first one going up a hill on the other side of a gully. when I fired my trusty 30-06 the bullet killed the second Caribou in line, hit him in the neck. The wind was gusting to about 20 MPH and the range was guessed at 200 yards. I later figured out the range was closer to 550 yards and the wind was going about 40 MPH. Can't judge didtance across the white tundra.
Makes for a humbling experience to miss by 1-1/2 caribou lengths.
