Slow Hand;
Since you yourself refuse to decide whom is allowed weapons...and you believe that some people SHOULD be stopped from buying weapons...
Exactly which corrupt slimy suited empty headed 'authority' or Politicians do you want to turn that decision over to...
Perhaps the ones that just granted Super Citizenship to 20 million barbarians that invaded America...???
Opinion..? Sir..I have absolutely no problem with you having an opinion on the subject. What I object to LOUDLY is that wrong-wrong-wrong opinion becoming the law of the land...as Fascists and Socialists manipulate people like you into accepting laws that destroy the Constitution...and a corrupt judicial system turns a blind eye to that document...and the infringes thereof.
I also recognize that YOU give the Anti-Gunners strength...NOT guys like me, willing to call a spade a spade...and a Fascist/Socialist EXACTLY what they are.
I'm not so sure if people convicted of violent felonies or ajudicated as mentally insane should legally own guns. I don't support many of the current prohibited classifications (like any misdemeanor) but there are a couple that might make sense and I think it unfair and unreasonable to label someone a Fascist for feeling that way.
We can debate the issue of who (if anyone) should be prohibited, under what circumstances and who should decide without getting hot-headed over it, can't we? Let's not make it personal, OK?
I think this thread has just about run its course unless someone has something new and enlightened to add?

4 Idiots Who Think Gun Rights Are Safe
So the opening thread and post is perfectly acceptable...but naming names of people willing to trade off gun rights isn't ?
Just trying to understand, here...
A careful reading of my post..where I mentioned 'Fascists"..also should make perfectly clear that I feel many decent people are convinced by propaganda FROM Fascists to turn their backs on the Constitution.....
I am terribly sorry this topic doesn't deal with smoking jacket clubs or something important..which are allowed to progress into thousands of posts.

Are you saying that we shouldn't respond with statements like;
"What a bunch of whining, sniveling weasels. Why don't you do something that would be a step up in your pathetic, pitiful lives, like kicking a dog or stealing coins from the church poor box? Now picture me putting my big old "rear" up against the monitor. You may all pucker up and kiss away."

So - We see that TR will never fight for his rights. But will denigrate people who believe in our constitution. So TR - we disagree. You sir are worse than the Brady bunch, in that you believe that you are better than others! And if we do not fall in line with your socialist retoric - we have no right even to our own opinion. I hope one of your neighbors has the balls to defend you when they come to take yours away, because your precious defenders of our rights groups ain't going to come and save you.
If you can't see that these groups have not saved us yet in over 70 years of ever increasing firearm restrictions - and still give them money - you are a fool to tell me I have to just to have the priviledge of associating with you. Ehhhh - I do not want or need your approval - I do wish that you could refrain from your juvenile attempts to recrute people by denigrating others - or better yet. Why don't you keep this crap over on the GUN RIGHTS BOARD!!!!
Slow Hand - good name. But, again, are you soo much better than others that you can decide who has the right to defend themselves?
More angry rhetoric from you in an effort to create a smoke screen to obscure the fact that you have left the impression that the only damn thing you do for gun rights is to buy, own and shoot guns and shoot off you mouth about how if the government steps on your gun rights too much you are going to come out shooting. You would probably make a good poster boy for the anti-gun crowd to use in an effort to convince the undecided citizens that all gun owners are dangerous to society and therefore all guns should be banned.
And despite your dream-world thinking, I never, ever said when the time came I would not fight. In fact since I control myself enough so as not to loudly reveal what I will and will not do when the time comes, people like me are more likely to be the fighters than someone like you who so far only shoots off his mouth. There may be two "battles" gun owners face in an effort to keep their gun rights. The present battle is a political battle and myself and others like me are heavily into that fight. It may be that in the future it will turn into a revolution by gun owners and I may or may not be in that fight. But I am not goofey enough to reveal my future plans. But I will say that me and others like me have revealed that we are doing the political battles. In your case you are apparently doing nothing now and will likely the same when and if the revolution starts.

Actually, in my own defense, I would hope no gun owners here on GB.com would fall into the catagory of someone who truly does believe that their gun rights are safe. And therefore choose to do little or nothing about trying to protect their gun rights. So, if no one here does voluntarily, of their own choosing, put themselves in that catagory of "idiot" who thinks their gun rights are safe, then no one here should be offended. And as Dcon12 pointed out, I am only referring to a maximum of 4 idiots anyway [:D]
'Course, if any gun owner really does think his gun rights are safe, well......he or she is an idiot.
I KNEW you wern't talking about me...."SAFE" absolutely ain't in my vocabulary, when it comes to the ravening beast....on ANY count..[:D]
I just purely love to have you put forth a subject such as this, Fox...[:D]
I will leave it up to you to figure out WHY...[:0]
As you know..I hope..I would enjoy setting across a table from you and debating in person..and not too many I can say that about.
I am coming into this post at a late date, but wanted to say that I agree with "SaxonPig" completely. I have nothing to add but my support to "TRFOX" and the supporters of the NRA.
In the UK they said, after they lost their gun rights, I wish we had the support of an NRA to fight for our rights before we lost those rights. Same in Canada, same in Australia. The fight has to be before we lose those rights, not crying after the rights are gone. Macho threats about what we will do if we lose those rights will fade as fast as the big protest to stop the invasion of illegials from Mexico.
Stand up now and support the groups who are doing your fighting for you or you will give up the freedom we now enjoy and want to pass on to our children. Its so easy to be a critic and point fingers at the success or failure of the NRA or Gunowners, but its a war and you have to make a choice. Pick your side!
I love to hear the debate from both sides, its wonderfull that we can still have this debate about firearms, but be vigilant, there are many among us that don't share our love for firearms and the shooting, hunting sports so we must be very strong and stand together. The dark side knows that to win they must divide us and keep us at odds with one another, then they will slip in for the kill. We need the support of a lot more than 4 million members to have any chance to be successful long term to retain private gun ownership. In my opinon it will take 50 million or more to retain this right over the next 25 + years.
TR: where we have our parting of the ways is that I no longer believe in the NRA, And I no longer support them financially, I became a life member way before some in this forum were even born, Nothing I could do about that except have my name removed from their dunn list..I choose to put my money where it is doing some good, at My state level.. When the NRA shows me they have accomplished something besides "Compromise", which my rights are not up for "Compromise" then and only then will I return to supporting them..
How about sending a contribution to the Armed Females of America..They are doing some good work, even if it is at their local level..

Right back at'cha Highball. When I get retired (if ever) and have more time than money (heck, I almost have that now) I would like to hop on my mighty Yamaha Vmax road rocket and cruise around America(while blowing Harley riders off the road) and meet a few of you jokers.
If you haven't been arrested or deported by then that is [8D]
I do not understand how anyone can say that the NRA has done nothing to help the gun owners. Just one example, they are helping to pass concealed carry laws in more and more states by lobbying the local politicians. How many states have right to carry laws now that did not have such a right a few years ago??? Do you think those local politicians just woke up one morning and decided to grant their citizens the right to carry a hangun???? I think that everyone who has posted negative things about the NRA has not taken the time to actually read and learn what the NRA has accomplished in the past years. And yes, they are cheap too! If every gun owner joined the NRA, we would be a force to be reckoned with...look at the AARP!

How about sending a contribution to the Armed Females of America..They are doing some good work, even if it is at their local level.. I would send money to every organization that was doing good work for gun rights and needed money if I was a wealthy man. But I'm not. In fact I went from Feb. 1, 2006 to May 7, 2006 without a paycheck because of a knee injury and operation.
Well.....alright then. Finally it comes down to the fact that you and I basically agree on the subject of gun rights. So let's you and I quit acting like adversaries now and in the future. Oh, sure we disagree on one item and that is the NRA. You seem to have a lifelong grudge against it that you can't let go of, and I feel (and know) the NRA does a tremendous good even though it (and everyone else) is not perfect. But overall you would actually be helping yourself, to whatever degree, if you would quit publically bashing the NRA. It might make you and your life-long grudge feel good to do that but you, to whatever degee, are hurting your own gun rights. How? By making the gun-owning slackers feel good about themselves for doing absoutely nothing to, help save our gun rights; except to talk guns, buy, own and shoot guns, and, especially for one or two here, from the safety of their computer keyboard shoot off their mouth about how if the Fedcoats come for their guns the slackers are going to come out shooting.
So even you surely know that the NRA does SOME good. So if idiots like me want to support it, and if we can encourage the slackers to join and help the NRA OR the GOA OR the SAF OR the JPFO OR the CCRKBA then that is just extra help we have that costs you NOTHING in time and effort.
And who in their right mind would discourage "free help?"
Pickenup- Yes, that statement you quote is exactly what should be avoided. Thank you for taking that comment completely out of context and C&Ping it without mentioning that it was a calculated response to attacks being made on the writer.
No, I was not threatening to lock the thread. I never threaten to do anything. I either do it or I do not. I was suggesting that the comments were becoming more grating than insightful with the hope that the fighting would stop and the posts would either return to civil discourse or come to an end if civility wasn't possible.
As for having locked threads in the past as I have stated several times, I have locked maybe 4-5 threads and the latest was about 3 weeks ago. Is this what you mean by "recent" or are you confused and thinking that I have locked threads more recently than that? If you are, it wasn't me. Please don't assume that when a thread gets locked or deleted it's me doing it. I very rarely take such action and it's usually Admin or Nunn doing it but it doesn't matter who does it. Regeardless of who does it we must assume it was done for a good reason and I really shouldn't have to explain this to another Moderator. Do you not realize how unseemly it is for you to publically criticize another Moderator?
I'm sorry if you disapprove of me but your approval really isn't required. Have a nice day.
Highball- Please stop screaming. Nobody looks good when they are screaming. It's the Internet, dude. Don't take it so seriously. You should also not get indignant when someone objects to your throwing words like Fascist around in a debate.

The original right to carry laws were granted us by God almighty and the framers of our constitution. All these new laws do allow is the government's PERMISSION to bear arms, hence the term CCW PERMIT. All these laws do is infringe upon my second amendment because if I want to bear arms, I have to pay The Man some money and let The Man inspect my background and maybe let The Man tell me I need to take a training class. I'd say that is infringing my RIGHT to keep and bear arms.
MT357, ok, then petition God for a concealed carry permit. And if you get arrested for carrying without a permit, pray to God to have your court case dismissed. Get real, there are laws on the books and whether you like them or not, they are there and will be enforced. The NRA has been very successful in having right to carry laws passed in many states. I agree with you that the right to self defense is a God given right...but unfortunately...God does not make the laws we have to live by in this "free" society and so we must jump thru the hoops and undergo background checks if we wish to carry a concealed weapon.
Just inserting a small pause in these postings to ask that over the next few days, we acknowledge and remember - each in our own way - every American soldier who gave his or her life in service to our Country. They paid the ultimate price for all of us. Special thoughts to their families and friends as well.

Well, I agree that people have a natural right to defend against unwarranted attack. And along with that right comes the right to have and use weapons for that natural defense.
However, somebody better tell God that the man is infringing upon our gun rights, as you describe, that God has "given" us. Because somebody has to act to stop/slow that infringement before we lose all our gun rights as has happened in other countries and even cities in the USA like Washington, D.C. and maybe San Francisco.

Recently, I was accused of being a fascist because I asked what I felt was a valid question and because I expressed an opinion. I then tried to clarify what I posted, to no avail.
It may be of interest to some - surely not all - to note that depending upon what you read and who wrote it, the defining aspects of fascism different widely from what many hear once and then repeat as fact throughout their lifetime.
I offer the following only for your parousal and thought. Discard it if you wish.
No insult to any individual or argument is intended on my behalf but it's highly likely that a firestorm and more vitriolic postings will no doubt follow. C'est la vie.
Fourteen Defining
Characteristics Of Fascism
By Dr. Lawrence Britt
Source Free Inquiry.co
5-28-3
Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread
domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
From Liberty Forum
A little about me:
I - just like you and everybody else - have the right under the 1st Amendment to express my opinion without constraint, whether you like it or not. I do not need nor do I ask for your approval in doing so. Further, I have the right to defend myself against false, derogatory and inflammatory comments.
From what I've seen and read, absolutely no one on any of the posting boards out there has a "lock" on the truth. Quite to the contrary, much of what I've read can be categorized as being spin, hype or just conjecture.
Specific to the baseless allegation made against me, my postings do not, in any way, validate, promote or encourage fascism (especially see item #12) unless my postings are deliberately taken out of context solely for the purpose of promoting a cause or advancing a specific agenda.
In my opinion, bravado, thunderblustering, ranting, raving, bile-spewing and name-calling are usually just the noises made when intellectual ability and cognitive reasoning go on an unplanned hiatus.
Further, I do not believe everything I read or hear, especially repeated and worn out diatribes, talk of Armageddon, the Apocalypse, the impending demise of the U.S.A., etc., etc. from extremist or fanatical points of view.
I think for myself. I do not "parrot" what others have lectured, preached, written, posted, strutted, shouted or drummed out.
As a citizen of this Republic, I accept and respect the principle of majority rule. I vote my conscience and not a party line.
I am not afraid to ask questions, to learn at least one new thing each day, to share my knowledge and to listen to what others have to say in turn, no matter how different their viewpoints may be.
I will gladly discuss any topic. But I will not stoop to engage in name-calling, temper tantrums or hissyfits.
I am not afraid to change my opinion over time. I am secure in the knowledge that I decide for myself what is right and best for me. I do not let others think for me nor do I subscribe to inflammatory rhetoric, name-calling, intimidation tactics or propaganda.
No one out there on this board is paying my salary, my taxes or my bills except me.
I refuse to allow fear to control my intellect and reasoning abilities. I strive to achieve and maintain a sensible balance in my life, my thought processes and my dialogue.
Some folks contend that government is trying to do our thinking for us. What then are any of you doing by trying to impose your will and opinions upon others?
If all of what I have just said makes me a fascist, then exactly what are you?
Thank you for listening. May God continue to bless America.

Pickenup- I don't see where I am holding myself above anything. If anything, I have been getting the short end of the fairness stick. You speak of things working both ways and you are right. That's why I posted the unkind comments you cited. I had been subjected to numerous attacks and I did not respond for a long time. Finally, when the attackers started suggesting that I was a coward for not responding I gave it right back to them in the same disgusting manner that they used on me. So, do I not have the right to defend myself? No "double standards" doesn't mean I have to take unending criticism and personal attacks without response, does it? I am just as polite as anyone but when I tried to be polite some people insisted on being nasty. I got sick of it and responded in kind. You took it out of context in that you posted my response with no explanation of why I was saying those things. I did not start that dust-up. Accusing me of enjoying any special privilige is incorrect.
I didn't check the dates on those threads but I guess you did and it seems very important to you that it was 2 weeks ago and not 3 as I thought. I have bad sense of time passing. Sorry. Um... big deal, OK? Don't you have something more important to worry about than this?
I locked those threads because they had turned really personal and - please read this next part carefully - it doesn't matter towards whom the nasty comments were directed. When the discussion gets personally insulting the thread is done. Do you think it should continue simply because it's me being savaged? Where's your "no double standard" here? I have the same rights as any other member to be free from personal attack. A thread where a member is being subjected to personal insults should be stopped. I am included. I do not let attacks against others continue when I am aware of them and I have defended Hairy's right to post his opinions and others as well. I do not only tend my own needs as you claim.

Highball - your last paragraph says it all for me. Just what MT357 was saying. They have made self defense into a priviledge instead of a right with the blessing of the NRA. Those who support these are all happy that more and more states are "allowing" ccw, and they supposedly have "fought" for these changes. Why don't they fight for carry with out a permit nation wide instead of permission from the esteemed officials - because they wont - they know it will be an actual fight. So they also bow down and accept these enfringments as if they won a real battle.
generally, while not forgetting human nature, I personally feel that ALL the moderators here on GB.com should be appreciated, respected and cooperated with. This is especially true when they interact with each other. I mean, Geez, they have one of the most thankless jobs on the entire planet.
I wouldn't do it even if you paid me. (well, if you paid me a LOT, I might do it.....for awhile.)

You have voluntarily, willing and eagerly (for security) bought off on the Idea that somebody in government is fit to pass judgement on decent citizens lives.
In red above. Many of us here DO understand the difference between a right and a priviledge. But we don't waste time debating it because decades ago the left-wing, anti-gun liberals hijacked our country and have created a political climate whereas that argument won't fly. Most governments (feds, state, city) and most courts and most citizens simply will not agree that we have gun "rights" instead of gun "priviledges". Therefore, in the meantime, generally the only way we can advance our use and ownership of guns is to approach it from a position that the groups I just mentioned will have some agreement with. There is an ongoing effort to change the attitude of America in that it is a "right" to stand your ground when attacked and it your "right" to defend you and yours. This automatically implies the right to own, carry and use the tools (guns) needed to excerise this self defense right.
If you will just quite beating us over the head about "rights" vs "priviledges", as long as we are making progress under EITHER term, lets's wait and see if we are able to take this country back. As long as we are working towards a goal, and it seems we are making progress, let's not argue among ourselves about a defination.
Highball, you become fiercely indignant towards individuals having opinions not in lockstep with your dogma, your opinions, your mantra, and your interpretations.
You couch your indignance towards them in statements taken completely out of context, politically-charged innuendos, disparaging remarks and personal insults. Apparently, there is no room whatsoever in your world for discussion or debate.
For what it's worth, I refrain from engaging in mental *. It serves no real purpose outside of one's own mind.
Why don't you just accept the fact that I simply am not buying whatever it is that you're selling and move on?

The Founders only had 3% of the population to whip the British. Less then 30 % supported their radical new ideas.
200 odd years later....the situation is exactly the same.
TR; The reason I continue to hammer on certain ideas is simply because the fight for gun rights is over...unless gun people understand where the desirable goal line actually IS...instead of buying into 'gun laws are a good thing..'
Any body giving even a cursory look into the past would think about Prohibition..or the 'drug war'...where draconian punishment is meted out over a behaviour...the problem grew bigger and bigger...in spite of huge law enforcement increases.
The answer is punishment over MISUSE of...'whatever'...not setting up some government agency to look into your private life.

4 Idiots Who Think Gun Rights Are Safe
So the opening thread and post is perfectly acceptable...but naming names of people willing to trade off gun rights isn't ?

And as Dcon12 pointed out, I am only referring to a maximum of 4 idiots anyway [:D]
Yea, and we done run three of them off. Don
I just purely love to have you put forth a subject such as this, Fox...[:D]
I will leave it up to you to figure out WHY...[:0]
As you know..I hope..I would enjoy setting across a table from you and debating in person..and not too many I can say that about.
How about sending a contribution to the Armed Females of America..They are doing some good work, even if it is at their local level..
I KNEW you wern't talking about me...."SAFE" absolutely ain't in my vocabulary, when it comes to the ravening beast....on ANY count..[:D]
I just purely love to have you put forth a subject such as this, Fox...[:D]

Right back at'cha Highball. When I get retired (if ever) and have more time than money (heck, I almost have that now) I would like to hop on my mighty Yamaha Vmax road rocket and cruise around America(while blowing Harley riders off the road) and meet a few of you jokers.
If you haven't been arrested or deported by then that is [8D]
TR: where we have our parting of the ways is that I no longer believe in the NRA, And I no longer support them financially, I became a life member way before some in this forum were even born, Nothing I could do about that except have my name removed from their dunn list..I choose to put my money where it is doing some good, at My state level.. When the NRA shows me they have accomplished something besides "Compromise", which my rights are not up for "Compromise" then and only then will I return to supporting them..
How about sending a contribution to the Armed Females of America..They are doing some good work, even if it is at their local level..
Too old to live...too young to die...
How many states have right to carry laws now that did not have such a right a few years ago??? Do you think those local politicians just woke up one morning and decided to grant their citizens the right to carry a hangun????
The original right to carry laws were granted us by God almighty and the framers of our constitution. All these new laws do allow is the government's PERMISSION to bear arms, hence the term CCW PERMIT. All these laws do is infringe upon my second amendment because if I want to bear arms, I have to pay The Man some money and let The Man inspect my background and maybe let The Man tell me I need to take a training class. I'd say that is infringing my RIGHT to keep and bear arms.
May God bless America!

Pickenup- Yes, that statement you quote is exactly what should be avoided. Thank you for taking that comment completely out of context

I also recognize that YOU give the Anti-Gunners strength...NOT guys like me, willing to call a spade a spade...and a Fascist/Socialist EXACTLY what they are.
I am therefore assuming that you...and a couple others on this forum...are actively engaged in destroying the Bill of Rights...is that correct ? Either that..or you so hopelessly w horeship those in power you are unable to separate yourself from them.
You claim to make your own judgements...I think you read another posters opinion and adopted it as your own.
Once again..you are welcome to your opinion. The problem comes about because you are willing to read the Second Amendment and actually find a BASIS for you opinion. Given that ANY federal Gun Laws are legal under the Constitution..the total banning of guns is ALSO legal.
Some of you guys really need to begun to understand the difference between a RIGHT..exercised without the permission of slimy empty suits...and crawling on your belly to beg permission for the exercise thereof.

I'm glad that you're having a great day but you're sure screwing up mine with your ridiculous accusations and expectations that I answer to you. How about moving on.
NO ONE has to answer to me.
I'm moving on.
My point has been made.

Highball,
For what it's worth, I refrain from engaging in *. It serves no real purpose outside of one's own pee pee

We can debate the issue
without getting hot-headed over it, can't we? Let's not make it personal, OK?
Are you saying that we shouldn't respond with statements like;
"What a bunch of whining, sniveling weasels. Why don't you do something that would be a step up in your pathetic, pitiful lives, like kicking a dog or stealing coins from the church poor box? Now picture me putting my big old "rear" up against the monitor. You may all pucker up and kiss away."

I think this thread has just about run its course unless someone has something new and enlightened to add?
Just asking. Are you threatening to lock this thread because YOU THINK it has just about ran it's course? Like you have done with other threads recently?
Saxon, you should have realized that becoming a moderator was like picking your way thru a minefield! You are damned if you do, damned if you don't. Being a moderator here on GB is like being a kindergarten teacher![:D]
He should understand that like other positons in life, being a mod on a site means hold hisself to a higher standard. It also means that the petty things he used to do, he can no longer do. All personal feelings go right out the window. He, however, has not done that. Don
