At least he lets the Generals make the decisions and he is always praising the good work of the military.

At least they are not fighting with ROE anymore.

Maybe the Donald Trump is an excellent negotiator. I know this sounds crazy, but maybe he knows what he's doing.

Seriously, the best negotiators I've seen have half their own team thinking they are crazy.

You start from a position of strength and work down. You Bluff. You talk big. You let your opponent think you are crazy. You leave nothing on the table. You fight for every last morsel.

Right now he is letting the world think he is ruthless and a madman. The world hated Ronald Reagan. Europe thought he was senile and wanted to provoke Russia into a nuclear war. He just wanted to tell Gorbachev "no" across the negotiation table.

Maybe Trump knows what he's doing.

are you serious have you not been listening to all the BS he is spewing it does sound good i must admit but in reality not doable without bankrupting the nation, i would think we are a stones through from being upsidedown already where is he going to get the money to do that. 1st off we are a nation of freedom we will not charge anyone to pay up before we help them out to protect them.
build a wall not a fence as he said ,where will the money come from 1900 miles of wall have you priced labor and materials lately(who's going to work illegals , no pun intended)no one else wants to work .
if IF you build a wall you still have to man it you can't just leave it and hope it does the job all by itself(wheres the money)round up 11 million illegals (wheres the money and man power)to do this.i have traveled through out this western half nation and everywhere i look the so called illegals or Messicans (like some say) are the ones doing the construction dirty work. yard people, food establishments, motel work, casinos back door work.
honestly look around and see who is in the background doing the dirty work that all the entitled people getting a fat check every month don't want to do cause why? you ask!!! uncle sugar is sending them a monthly check.don't just set your eyesight on the south border why stop there and signal it out do the north border too.what about the oceans that we have don't you think those people can swim, boats, coyotes will still run them over here.
this man is and can negotiate real estate, more power to him on that.

He is not the man for me to lead this nation.
I do agree this nation is caught with it's pant down on border issues. we let it go to far.it's like cancer there is no good medicine for this.same thing with PC issues it's going to far already.
also where is his policies on world issues.i am more concerned about the sand people , Russians,China,Africa where does he stand on that?????nuclear bombs, there are real real bad people trying to kill us & destroy the USofA , i don't think the illegals are threatening to behead you and me, rape your women and children and change us to praying 5-6 times a day facing East where is he on those issues???????.
i could go on and on but enough already
Trump is not the one to lead this great Nation of ours,my thoughts, my take.

He is certainly a populist candidate. I love it that he is taking these unhindered shots at candidates and issues. I think Pataki has served as an example for other candidates that they don't want to publically criticize Trump because he will not be politically correct in his response.

He is on point about illegal immigration so I hope he keeps stirring the pot!

What would you expect and/or like to see Trump accomplish should he become president? And, would the results of such a feat actually improve how citizens view politicians and government in general?

A country that gives the supreme power to a "community organizer", an empty suit that never accomplished anything, that no one bothered to research his qualification other than race, could stand to have Donald Trump run things a few years.
I don't think he is an idiot. He makes his own money and does it well.
Obumbo has only lived off taxpayers all his life and for the rest of it too. Never earned an honest dime and acts superior to the stupid taxpayers that suffer while he lives it up like a crack brother.

I would love to give Trump a chance to shake things up. How in the hell could we be any worse off?

He may be trying to poison people against an important issue because his real estate businesses may be helped by plentiful construction labor.

Surely not just the government of Mexico might give some of their problem citizens a push to go to America; other countries might be doing it too.

He also makes it sound like everyone coming over is a criminal, not just some people.

The best plan is Anne Coulters': Stop all immigration, legal and illegal, for ten years. When we start back, only take people that will be helpful and productive. Why should this nation always be the welfare capital for the whole world.

Please. Do any of you really think I believe Trump has a chance in hell of being President? I will vote for whoever is not a Democrat. It makes no difference who it is. But I don't think it could be Trump.

Every time he went broke, he pulled himself out and paid debtors. Never had a government bailout. Never asked for a tax increase.

Some need to reconsider comments. Trump has PRODUCED "Things" of intrinsic value during his life. Many besides Trump have failed under our CAPITALIST system only to bounce back.

Compare Trump to the federal government which PRODUCES absolutely nothing, consumes and destroys wealth while at the same time leaving an unimaginable 18,500,000,000,000 debt. A debt that doubled under Obama and one more socialist presidency you best make sure your
    calculator has an exponent function.

    No, you won't.

Because he has already lost. He did it with his "Opening Monologue" which he called a campaign speech.

More than that he is damaging the campaigns of those conservatives who will get more votes. Every time he opens his mouth he proves he has no ability as a politician or a leader as he offends more voters than he appeals to. No politician, no leader, can win an election without winning more votes than the other candidates.

You do not win enough votes by appealing only to a small portion of the electorate. Especially so if at the same time you do all you can to drive large numbers of voters to your liberal opponents.

Why is this simple mathematical reality so hard for conservative politicians and their supporters to grasp?

If Trump had half the brain for politics he imagines for himself he would have turned the rape angle to his advantage. A report from Amnesty International a few years ago would have been perfect material to use in the fight for Border Security. Which is the larger issue anyway, illegals being but a small part of a much larger problem. He could have used that report to put a human face on the need to improve security.

Instead he turned rape into a massive insult that every American Latino/Hispanic voter, not just the illegal aliens, heard loud and clear. He manufactured the soundbites to be used against himself, then doubled-down on the error. Soundbites that will echo for months.

Again, Trump has already lost. The more he doubles-down on his Stupid, the more he damages conservatives en mass.

I do not doubt that Trump knows how to make money off of real estate, resorts and self promotion. The problem is his talents are limited to those areas of business.

He should stick to his knitting.

You are real close to being right, but I think you got excited and overshot the bull's-eye.

The man is an egomaniac and a blowhard. He is damaging the 'conservative' chances in the general election. He has no concept of leadership or diplomacy. As President he would be almost as big a disaster as Obama. The man IS NOT an idiot.

He has been surrounded by "yes men" from the date of his birth to date. That does something to a man, and it ain't good.
