I've had a 1906 Winnie at my gunsmith for 3 years.t started out as a barrel with receiver and lever and a forearm. He has closed his shop and moved and I e-mailed him a week ago with no response. I had him order a fancy pop up rear sight like the old ones had and it looked great when saw it.He also had to order a new stock of course. So far about $600.00 in it. Think I'll try another e-mail now.
I have 2, a pre 64 Winny 94, and a pre safety Marlin 30A. I shoot the Marlin mainly, it has wear marks from riding in someones gun rack & not being shot. The Winny is prestine & pretty to look at.
